I'm just saying, I know DBZ looked like shit more often than not, but when there was actually attention and care paid to it, it looked pretty dag-on good for a crappy early-90s shonen. You'd figure after all the money Dragonball has made over the past 25 years and how successful the two recent movies were (which both looked fabulous), Super wouldn't look like absolute ass all the time.
I mean, I highly doubt we'll ever see something in Super that looks this nice.

Kid Buu was definitely weaker than Super Buu and its evolutions, though I'd say he's stronger than Fat Buu at full power because Kid Buu was far more suited for combat (the Fat Buu that Kid Buu fought was weaker than Fat Buu at full power). Super Buu was more or less Fat Buu at full power reorganized a bit to put more points into combat ability.
Kid Buu's strength came from being wilder and a lot more instinctive than the other Buus. Kid Buu also doesn't give a shit about fighting the strongest fighters and just wanted to break shit, so he'd kill off stronger fighters than him by just destroying the planet and regenerating. He possibly has stronger regenerative abilities than Super Buu because Super Buu never tried that when cornered against Gohan and Vegito.

Guess that's true, but I always did get the impression Kid Buu had stronger regeneration. Super Buu and Gotenks were about evenly matched, but there were a couple of times where Super Buu had trouble regenerating. Before their fight, Super Buu was just waiting.
Kid Buu and Goku were evenly matched and their match lasted longer, not to mention Kid Buu was busting planets before that fight. Despite that, Kid Buu's regenerative abilities never seemed to be under any stress.

From what I remember, Kid Buu was a far better fighter and a lot stronger than Fat Buu. As Fat Buu, he was much nicer and while also a lot more intelligent, he wasn't 100% focused on violance - all because he has the good Kaioshin inside him.
Super Buu was created after he got rid of the good part, where the Kaioshin basically merged with any Buu that was left, and was thrown out as a separate character. He got rid of him, because he wanted to throw out any emotions he had for Satan. He still had some, since he agreed to Videl's request to wait for Gotenks' training.
Still, even after all that, Kid Buu was the least strategic, but most violent, unpredictable, not eating any talk bullshit from anyone etc. He was pure evil, making Earth explode just like that, without warning or shouting attack names or whatever. Also, he could go 1 VS 1 with SSJ3 Goku, which still wasn't strong enough to beat him. Strong enough to fight, yeah, but not destroy him completely. That's why Goku wanted to go "another level", but without a dead body, couldn't. Goku said he was fully able to destroy Fat Buu as SSJ3, but Kid Buu was just too much.
PS: I'm still salty everyone forgot about Goku's new form and I absolutely hate Super, the God form and all that bullshit, sorry.
