Why do the people who sign off on anime let the drooling moetards rule the industry?
I'm tired of 90% of all new anime that comes out being about cute girls supposedly doing cute things, but instead end up being 12*24 minutes of pantyshots, sexual innuendo, FORUTO PARUFAITO, and onsen/beach scenes.
Why can't there be more pure cute, like Kuragehime? Is the majority target group really that sexually starved that they can't look at a girl without getting a boner, and need a pantyshot to justify the monkey spanking session they'll be having after the episode is over?

Money, why would there be any other reason? When you spend enough money to move the Otaku market to your fetishes and wants then you'll start getting what you want.
Unless your taste is absolutely specific, there will always be an anime in any given season for you to watch or you could do something unthinkable and watch older anime which fit your tastes.
