Let's not jump to conclusions now, PA works could attempt to do the CG themselves and end up with horrible results
They couldve done Shirobako s2, or even a movie, or Tari Tari s2, and instead the show they spent this entire time hyping is a run of the mill CG mech show which will probably be worse than Comet Lucifer.
I kind of feel like it doesn't even matter that the mecha are cgi for once since their shows are chock-full of cgi anyway.

PA Works CG isn't usually that noticeable for me, for shit like background cars and people, who cares. In mecha the robots are the thing you look at most, so it's more important.
