How do you feel about basedball anime?
one outs should have been so much better
too much time spent on each game, no reason why a single game should have taken 4 fucking episodes
Diamond no Ace has been one of the best shows the last two years.
God bless this show getting adapted.

Not interested.

Ones outs was great the way it was. It was more about the psychology not the games themselves.

Didn't Oofuri spend the entire season on a single game by showing every single pitch?
>>134944937
Think the longest match in Oofuri is 11 episodes (in Season 1 against Tousei).

H2 IS OBJECTIVELY THE BEST OF ALL TIME
>mfw Adachi will die in our lifetime
this world is cruel
Baseball is just the perfect sport for anime. It's a team sport that consists of 1v1 battles, so you get the best of both worlds there. It's a slow sport anyway so the anime can take it's time and build suspense without it feeling too dragged out. There's plenty of time for talking and internal monologueing between plays so it doesn't have to resort to the Talking is a Free Action thing. And there is a big psychological aspect to the game which is easy to use for character development.
Based baseball.

it's a bit of a sacrifice bunt for most studios/publications in Japan to be honest.
Baseball is so fucking boring to watch.
I only liked one outs because it was enjoyable to see how the MC fucked with his opponents mind.

But what about super moves? You can only have so many disappearing pitches.

>wanting super powers in your sports animu
I think sports are interesting enough on their own. Power levels kill every show in time.

Not much. All I know is, eyeshield 21 made me develop an interest in football.
So much so that I tried joining the football team at my school.
Then I remembered I wasn't in school.
Or in college.
Or even in shape to play
And that I was middle aged....
