My advice is to learn appreciate what's in front of you instead of obsessing over closure.

Well, I guess you could make up with a number of nonsensical ways for a conclusion that a reader would have never expected. Still, I mean, it's easy to come up with an ending. Does it really matter that much especially in a story like Overlord that draws it's inspiration from the fact that things didn't have to end? I mean, look at how the whole thing started - at the conclusion of a different world. I would say it's the adventure and the characters that push things forward, and there's so much potential for endless nuances in that department. Treating this whole thing like something with a clear goal in mind that should end at the finish line of a long marathon just feels wrong.

Graft Flesh was a feat, and it only really works out for Silthilar and people with Silthilar friends in practice (Silthilar are incredibly advanced flesh workers).

The well regarded works of literature have this position not because they're widely liked or whatever. Usually they were innovative and influenced other works. For example, you might not like Shakespeare, but his works influenced a lot of people, so you simply can't ignore his existence if you wish to talk about literature. Is it so hard to understand?

Shakespeare yes, he is all over the place--many english words exist only because of him--and you see tons of works which ape Romeo and Juliette, or Hamlet or are even adaptions of it. But you don't see much like Anna Karenina and War and Peace. Mostly I'd say Tolstoy's influence is dying out with modern literature turning to a more low class quality. Are there even novels which ape Tolstoy's style anymore? Usually his novels are popularly derided for being too long--"It's as long as War and Peace," etc.
