I don't see the point in the fights. It's ok to not take itself too seriously like Jojo, but in a comedy like OPM the fights simply lack tension.

Early on I could have understood it, but after about episode 3-4ish, I'm sincerely dumbfounded how it hasn't had a diminishing effect. I'm fairly easy to please so usually the big hitters almost always click with me. I still like it, but I don't see anything substantial to set it on the front page. Ironically it didn't even need to either...until it started taking itself seriously.
Maybe the reference humor and superhero pop joke trivia just isn't my thing, I donno. I mean, I saw people worshiping Lucky Star just because they'd randomly mention an anime so....
