How can you enjoy the dub of TTGL? It's so much more horrid listening to the characters tot around saying "Semen". At least in the Japanese version it was more of "Shii-mon". If they wanted to do it right they would have just said Simon, like Simon-Says. It was the Japs that initially fucked it up.

I agree with Bebop, but I've never watched a lot of series subbed. I just re watch with dubs because it's what I'm used to.
With new shows I get exposed to I stick to subs though, unless it seems western plus the dub is actually good.
Watched The World God Only Knows dubbed, but that was only because I flipped a coin. Wasn't too bad. Sadly, it'll probably never get that final season.

Vincents voice annoyed me in the dub, but Re-l's wasn't right in the sub. I just stuck with the dub because Vincent was easy to ignore.
I'll watch any show dubbed and enjoy it but if I've heard the original Japanese voice I often can't enjoy the dub.
There are of course exceptions.
Almost all of the anons defending dubs have problems with reading and can't keep up with subtitles.
When you're in that position, it's easier to rationalize all the ways dubs-are-just-fine-you-autists than it is to travel back in time and not flunk out of third grade.
