No, I like cartoons, but I don't care much for comics.
Manga is just less time consuming along with having better art most of the time

Having the sound/voices there really makes the experience more enjoyable. I think I would watch anime exclusively if I had both options all the time.

I do since it's almost always better. The anime adaptation for Tokyo Ghoul put me off it for months because it just seemed like a really bland story with gore.The story didn't improve that much in the manga but at least I feel like I'm wasting less time with it.

The occasional monster girl thread on the monthly release of a new chapter were so nice. Then this summer there was the anime, and it's turned into a shitty daily general.
Luckily for other manga who got an anime, the two fan base stay in their relative threads, and it's not that bad.

I don't watch any manga adaptation, and if it's an adaptation of a manga I don't know and it looks promising I check the manga instead.
I don't want to be such an extremist as not to watch any anime, cause there are some gems.

Manga cost less, so people can try many different things with less fear of the economic backlash if it's not that well received.
If an anime flops badly it may be the end of the studio, so they usually prefer to walk on the comfortable path of making boring, unimaginative moe SoL, battle shonen, harem or sport shonen they know is going to be good enough to be liked by a lot of people, even if maybe not loved by anyone, instead of something more polarizing.
Also, the huge number of manga that are produced compared to the number of anime makes it easier to find something decent or even great.

The only anime I watch are originals. There's no point in watching adaptations. Butchered art, cut content, fucked pacing, and the colors just feels underwhelming compared to what the mangaka can do.
Even then, it's not as good as manga because anime originals are usually made by a committee instead of a single artist/author, which tend to lead to a disjointed and less focused story and setting.
