After putting off watching Rakudai for weeks now, I decided to binge watch it today, since my room mate swore it was just like Asterisk and Anti Magic, which we have both been watching.
After watching the most recent episode, I have concluded that Rakudai is the best magic school shit show this season. The fact that there is an actual romance between MC and best girl, and how it is helping drive the plot definitely has made it stand out from the other two. I was positive Anti Magic was better, up til today. Stella is best gril this season.

The show is still terrible but the last episode piqued my interest by about 2 micrometer percentage points.

Although I'm supposed to be finishing my last essay for law school, i've binged watched 10 episodes in the last two days. Yes, the show is the magic school shit show this season, but that's not saying much. I like this show for the same reason I like sword art online, the plot moves along quickly enough but isnt something you really need to pay attention to, decent fights, decent production values, and lots of "quality". I'm now starting to realize that some of these shows are basically the anime equivalent of 2 1/2 men.

- Ikki asks Stella whether it still hurts. She replies that it still does, that it's probably not possible to walk without feeling the pain. Ikki was unexpectedly savage.
- Ikki asks her if she can't heal it with her dragon powers. Stella replies that it's possible although she wants to leave it like that for now. Ikki has a bit of a bad conscience about it. However, Stella tells him it's because that's the evidence of their love.
- After that they share a kiss.
- A couple pages later Shizuku is knocking on the door. The guy providing the spoiler hasn't seen it yet but says it should be Shizuku taking out her dagger.
- Stella apparently also tells Ikki that her father isn't any less scary - if not more - than Shizuku, frightening Ikki.
