I've been watching Conan for more than a decade and never really gave the movies a try. Following some anon's movie ranking I watched Countdown to Heaven and wow. What a ride.All the Haibara sub-plot, Sonoko almost losing her head for getting a new haircut and what an ending, I particularly loved how everyone played their part instead of "Conan does everything", my only complaint is that they didn't use the classic bgms and Conan's theme for those scenes.

If you think about it, the only possiblities are that Haibara's mom is related to either Sera's mom or Sera's Dad. You'd think that Haibara would know if her mother's maiden name was Sera and might have thought something by now, and also Haibara's Mom is not even Japanese.
So if they're related at all I feel like it would have to be that Sera's Mom and Haibara's Dad are siblings. But if anything you'd think that Akai, as resourceful as he is, would know that he was with his cousin. When you think about it he's living the dream, tons of cases to solve on a daily basis.
Remember Holmes had this problem, since the books had some sort of realism there were no daily cases for him to solve, eventually leading to him to doing coke. Shinichi is basically living Holmes' dream.
