Are there any strange habits you have while watching anime?
I'll start; whenever there is a suggestive panning of the camera to a female character Ilook away. I don't understand why, if I particularly like the character I feel uncomfortable and instictually just look away.

Whenever a character starts speaking some real shit I start hype manning them out loud
I like to make my room pitch black before I watch anime. When I shut off the screen for a moment, I like to look around and not be able to see the hand in front of my face.
When I see your usual self-insert tropes, I start to feel embarrassed, and I suppress it by swearing repeatedly, and loudly if family is not around.

Can't watch something without being as comfy as possible. I don't see how people watch on their laptops or at their desk. It's almost like a checklist: on the big screen, wearing my Sennheiser HD600, have snacks and drink at the ready, pillows and blankets, soft backlight behind the screen, phone nearby so I can speedily shitpost on /a/ etc.
Sometimes I like to eat what the characters eat and shit like that but very rarely.

Given the opportunity, I only watch anime in the very early hours of the morning. 3 AM to 6:30 or so. Started doing it because I had adjusted my sleep schedule oddly and needed something to do while I waited for the rest of the world to wake up. Keep doing it because I like it.
