I watched clannad and angel beats but I couldn't see what was sad about that story, even if you like their characters.
oh no people die that is part of life they all lead interesting paths on their life and experienced unique things. More often then not they have a life partner they might lose on the way but at least for some time they had someone who understands them and wants to spend time with them.
I'd sell my soul for any of that, death included.
I want to kill myself but society forces me to stay alive with guilt trapping and making me feel bad about making siblings sad over my theoretical death.
I have a phobia of medication and hospitals so therapy is not really an option. With the depression and other health issues I can't work but I'd feel guilty taking government support money because I know I'd be theoretically capable of working, I just lack motivation because it gets me nowhere closer to my true goal which is death.
The shows named here, Steins Gate, Grave of the fireflies nothing really phazes you, most of the people enjoyed their time while alive during the last seconds of their lifetime they were able to look back and think "I had moments that were good" sometimes they would even be happy because they managed to achieve something with their death.
Is there no story that is actually heartbreaking demotivating and sad? all these stories obviously come from people who don't know what it is like to be devoid of all hope or joy
