I expected yuri. I swear someone working on the show mentioned something about expecting yuri. So at the end I said "wait, wasn't there supposed to be some girl on girl?" but that was about it.
But really, who cares? The characters were so fucking uninteresting it was really unimportant who won. For a show written by Maruto, it was awful and I'm still not sure how it ended up like that.

It is novel. Despite shoehorning in a bunch of clichees (highschool girl protagonists and such), which most probably were included in hopes of hooking in the otaku crowd, the show's focus on corporate machinations really is not something you see everyday. Too bad it didn't work out for them.
