The whole point of the fight was that it looked to the onlookers like a foolish mess of a duel between a weak one armed man who can't hold onto his sword and a blind man, but the readers understand that from the perspective of the two combatants, it was actually a very deep and thought out struggle.

Final fight in Teppu was a little underwhelming compared to the others. I know the her loss was pretty much guaranteed, I just wish that the fight could have gone on a little longer, and revealed just a little bit more of each character's uniqueMotherfucking Psychosis. Jesus Christ I was not expecting Yuzuko to be more fundamentally fucked in the head than Natsuo, but there you go.
Here's hoping there's a sequel. That shit was amazing, despite my opinion of the finale.

While I was initially really disappointed with this fight, there are bits of it I like in retrospect, and think it might've been OK if the circumstances surrounding it had been different.
But as it was, it was a massive let-down. Budo had been stomping about for about 10 chapters, looking like he might do something interesting, his hostility to the PM was emphasised quite a bit, as well as his being on Esdeath's level.
But then it turns out his main purpose is to get his ass kicked to make the MC's new power-up look good.

There's several different perspectives on what was meant in that ending. How are you perceiving it?
I thought it was simply Yuujiro not wanting to be alone at the "top of the mountain" anymore, hence him pleading Baki to be stronger earlier in the fight; but I've heard a lot of people say things more along your lines - that they were supposed to each say the other won, thereby not having a "real" victor.

The point is that it was underwheling but also epic at the same time.
Irako's technique was truly insane and Fujiki would have likely lost. It's ironic that a technique created by accident by Kogan's daughter, essentially the Kogan school, was what defeated Irako.
From your point of view, Fujiki was barely able to get a lucky hit which is still insane considering Irako was completely blind, so to be able to wage so much just to trick Irako is ridiculous.
It was a good fight but look at it from an outsider perspective.
A one handed man threw his sword away for no reason, the blind mind was blind and didn't know what he was doing and got killed. The fight will always be remembered as a battle between two bumbling idiots, not as this grandiose fight with a lot of history behind it.
