She really play out towako(Hakumen)'s paradox and manipulate personality . Both the loving mother voice( like in this scene) and the arrogant you are just a tool side 's voice are well portrait

"He" is the gender neutral personal pronoun in English. It's accurate to translate gender neutral terminology to the masculine because English uses it for both, translating to feminine would be inaccurate.

Just caught up with the anime. I wish the animation wasn't such a joke, but at least Towako's expressions looked great throughout the episode. Writers really need to work with their pacing issues, they're ruining perfectly enjoyable arcs.
The episode had some funny animation with bodies falling and hitting the floor like bags of cement.
I thought Kirio was going to kill her when she was first begging for help but he had to fuck up AGAIN, as if all the shit he's been doing didn't piss me off, he's now been thrown into the irredeemable shitstain pile.
Conversely Ushio was really manly this episode.
