Asterisk has good production values, really.
I've yet to see it get really wonky with the QUALITY, unlike last episode of F ni naru. Compared to Gate it looks fucking excellent.
Rakudai could be better because SL is really overloaded this season, with obvious quality drops in Shomin. The anti-magic adaptation is terrible.
I don't think anyone but DxDfags, who were devastated with S3 being shit, are watching Testament.
Even so the 10 episode S2 by IMS is just asking for "no more episodes after this, a final cash grab".
Writing wise Asterisk may not be better than the other harems, but it's certainly has the better budget and adaptation.

Asterisk really has some production values, I honestly think it is basically a better made Infinite Stratos aka a cookie cutter harem that is very enjoyable with cute girls and some nice fights with some good production values but unlike IS this one actually has an interesting plot and feels like it has better world building. So yeah better IS, and I mean that in a good way.

Yeah, I really liked the angle of having the MC be a teacher, it certainly made things feel different and overall the show was very comfy, and those headpats were always cute.

AD was probably my favortie, but it honestly was carried by the girls, and at the end the quality was just horrible. World Break had horrible quality, but Oniisama just carried the show with how stupid things could get around him. You always could count on him to make the show fun, like that one time he chased that girl around the store in super speed.
