I remember everyone hating on it as it was airing but after it finished you had the usual horde of people going "10/10 AOTYAY BRAVO GREATEST SHOW SINCE COWBOY BEEPITY BOOP"
It was really good, people just jealous of Watanabe's good looks.

If you're willing to overlook some bad engrish and some cliche writing, then zankyou is pretty damn fun to watch.

The narrative was a mess and really held everything back. Looked and sounded gorgeous though. I dunno. It's not not worth watching, but there are better things to waste your time on.
