Some of the shows have been real surprises. Kagewani, Hackadoll, and Onsen Yousei Hakone-chan are enjoyable shorts, One Punch Man is pretty good, Shomin Sample is OP of the year and pretty damn accurate to the manga, and all the sequels are really damn good.

A lot of good stuff this season, though no AOTY contenders like Ore Monogatari, NNB, Wakaba Girl (Gochuumon is up there) and no cute good originals like Etotama or Kyoani anime.
I'd say its still overall the best season this year though. Osomatsu, Hackadoll, Gochuumon, Itoshi no Muco, Concrete Revolutio has its moments, and Ushio to Tora is still airing.

Between OPM, Haikyuu S2, and Osomatsu-san, this season has actually been the best since Spring 2014, when Haikyuu S1 and Ping Pong steamrolled everything else.

I'm watching around ten shows, and I'm enjoying six or so, so it's not awful, between Osomatsu-san, Noragami Aragoto, Ushio to Tora, OPM, and IBO it's an alright season, I just wish a few of the super comfy shows from last season swapped with some of the action show from this season.

In terms of /a/, this season has been one of the worst. No good memes. In terms of actual show quality, it's gone up a little bit compared to Summer. There is more plot moving this season at least, even if it's regurgitated LNshit, Slice Of Boring and haremshit.

Nah, we've had some worse seasons, ostensibly this year actually.
If you're really gonna stretch back a decade to compare, Fall 15 is actually a fucking godsend compared to what we've had in the past, for example Winter '06 to me was just fucking awful. Most Winters have actually been rather shitty; for example 09-10 had like what, only 15 shows total (I remember everyone saying anime is dead on seeing the chart) and almost nothing at all did it for me except for Hidamari Hoshimittsu.
'15 has actually been a fantastic year for sequels to good shows; I'm already looking back on people complaining how shit it was and jogging back through the charts thinking to myself "hell no, there were a couple great shows that season". Makes sense to me that newfags wouldn't realize what the good show sequels are. The issue with 2015 is that there just has not been much in the way of new adaptations or originals that were big hits, not much with a big wow factor that was unanticipated. Then again you really can't expect a new Madoka or SnK type high-impact hit every year.
