Keep in mind that I only read the last few pages and I'm missing a lot of context here.Sensei's heir makes an appearance, and apparently hurts Benten and burns her hair. The scene I read had Benten asking Yasaburo if he hated her while crying; he says yes and she tells him to hate her more. It ends with Yasaburo thinking that there is no way for him as a tanuki to help her.
