Takano tells you the murder story on the first arc, then spergs about the village history on the second arc. Then Meakashi she tells the MC about her special theory.
Ooishi asks specific questions. Minor spoilerIt should become obvious he HEAVILY suspects a specific group based on his questions. This is directly connected to the "answer" of how killings take place in a very roundabout way.

I read the VN.. well played it, and honestly, I loved the difference between VN and Anime. The VN is a lot darker, and a bit more graphic which I loved most about it. However the big changes made during the anime was so much better! You would literally have to play the VN for yourself before watching Kai to truly understand the brilliance
