There's nothing left after this. Marika is out of the picutre, Yui is out of the picture, and Raku is no longer capable of thinking about Kosaki without Chitoge overshadowing her.
That Christmas date chapter was the last chance Kosaki had at winning. We might get a couple chapters of cooldown but be on the lookout for a cliffhanger at the end of a peaceful chapter to start the final arc of the series.

At this point, Raku is the antagonist, right? I mean, Y-San was better than him in every way, except age, and he literally destroyed the only chance Marika had at happiness. Good job, asshole.

The handling of all the losing girls feels rather unsatisfying. Seeing how they written out of the story with varying degrees of bullshit and all of the characters being a-ok with it makes it all the more apparent that they've been distractions to draw the length of the manga out. No matter how good the chemistry between the distraction girls and Raku was, it'll be ignored because the outcome was cemented from the beginning.
I know that Chitoge winning was the setup from the get-go, but the important part is whether the author can be smart about it and write it naturally and I think Komi didn't reach that goal. The strings by which he guides the trope theater were way too apparent and now leave a bad aftertaste.

Now that this arc is complete, I'm looking forward to going back to the idyllic Slice of Life chapters. All but two of the potential waifus have been eliminated from the Raku bowl, so let's just keep this stalemate going on for another few years.
Pretty sure I'm alone here, but I honestly want 200 more chapters of them doing dumb, boring, tropey slice of life shit like graduating high school, getting a job, going to college, joining a college club. Sprinkle in common tropey arcs, like a mountain camping arc, another beach arc, and more festive holiday arcs. Then I want to see them with full-time salary man jobs at the same company.And then I'd like to see Raku choose Kosaki. But even I know Chitoge is going to win ;_;
The dramaturgy of the manga is ass-backwards. Having Chitoge bumble and stumble into victory after seeing how much troubles Marika went through to have a go at it is pretty anticlimactic. Chitoge's biggest problem so far was whether to openly admit to him that she likes him. That would be ok, if there wasn't an assload of other girls who had more interesting and dramatic character arcs. Komi fucked up.
