They don't match the tone of the show. This is especially true with that one opening where conan is dancing awkwardly.
Generally the following stuff that appears in most openings do not make sense:
>Conan running in mid air with flash doors and suddenly looking back
Conan stopped being in danger while investigating random cases after season 3, when the show became family friendly.
>Ran in a formal dress (or naked) and crying like an emo bitch
She only does that like once every season, the rest of the time she is happy or flustered when Shinichi calls her
>Conan using his gadgets
He doesn't do that anymore. Tranq + bowtie is all he uses now.
The only opening that did it right was the first one.
>Conan with a bunch of clocks and transforming into Shinichi clearly shows that they're the same character and something happened to him
>They efficiently introduce all his gadgets that he used a lot back then
>Conan saving Ran shows that he's still capable of protecting her
>The Kogoro and the other kids' scenes show the kind of relationship Conan has with those characters.
Every single thing in that opening is there for a reason. In OP 2 and after they just put random nonsense together.

Another thing with that OP is the sequence showing Jodie, Araide, and Akai. It puts Araide in the same context as the then mysterious Akai and Jodie, leading viewers who may not have read the manga to believe he may be involved with them in some way. I kind of feel like this is a spoiler, but it wouldn't be the first time an OP has spoiled something in a show.
