So is the general consensus of this anime pretty much the music being a 10/10 because Classical Music and acoustic instruments in general are an eargasm of heart attacks and pure musical sex. With character development from Ep 1-18 being 8/10 and from Ep 19-22 being 4/10 because Kousei's character development and his struggle with his musical past leaves me with feels for him. His interactions with all of his friends, including his growing speculated love for Kaori, is pretty well done.Though sadly, as with anything that has space AIDS, the anime died about as fast as Kaori did after episode 19.
Animation is definitely a 7/10 as there were some great moments, for instance Kousei's first encounter with Kaori, but other than that it was pretty average. Better than most though, and not much QUALITY. Worthy of the Award for Most Sweaty Anime of 2015. And the over all enjoyment /a/ had at the time was about a 8.5/10. People LOVED this show, till of course space AIDS.

After 20 episodes of "wahh my mom beat me" it got very old very fast.
Fantastic music, but shitty characters and godawful melodrama throughout. Just download the OST or get into proper classical music rather than waste your time on this shit.

I watched it, enjoyed it, and It became one of my favorites regardless of the faults. The best thing to do is discuss good anime off of /a/ since everyone here is jaded beyond repair.
