Just finised Kaiba and it was pretty good even thought the Whole story at the ending was really confusing and kind Of came out of no where. But the deeper meanings was really thought provoking.
Yuru Yuri was the first SoL that I watched. It really made me throw away all of my morals, and helped me realize that deep down inside, I am a degenerate loser, and no females or people at all for that matter will make me as happy as these fucking cartoon characters. It distorted all of my standards for media consumption permanently, truly a masterpiece and a work of art to be remembered for the ages.

Call me a pleb, but fucking spirited away man. I watched it first when I was about 12 or so. Years went by, I stopped watching anime. When I decided to watch anime again in College, Spirited Away was the first thing I watched. When I heard the main theme(One Summer Day) start to play, I nearly teared up. I thought about how much things have changed, how much I have been through up to this point. All the friends and good times that have passed into simple memories. The nostalgia was depressing and beautiful.

I can't think of anime that really did that, even when I was way younger. But if it's Manga, then I can think of quite a few. Especially Asano's shit. You can talk shit about his tracing and art or whatever, but he's a great story teller, his stories hit home more often than not. Yeah, it's depressing as hell sometimes, but a while after you finish one, you think "Maybe the kind of life I'm having isn't that bad. If I try a little bit more maybe I'll be way happier"
I never felt such things from anime to the extent where I spend the following day laying around thinking how I should move from here with my life.

I know, GT it's shit. But when I was little kid, Dragon Ball Z was an important part of my life. My brothers and I loved every fucking second of it. And we never missed when it aired on TV. Eventually I grow up, my parents get divorced and family get divided. I went to live with my mom and one of my brothers with my dad. When I was like 13 or so, I watched the movie of GT, and seeing Goku and his friends dead, forgotten in time left a big impression. I realized that life have to come an end and nothing last forever. The best we can do it's give our best in becoming the people we want and shit. That finale scene when Goku JR. sees the fucking Son Goku and he tells him that it wasn't magic bulshit what maked his dreams come true but the strong of his heart and his actions, I was fucking tearing apart. Cheesy, I know. But fuck it, is a really special moment that i would never forget.

Sure Punpun fucks with you because of all the suffering but in hindsight, you must realise that Punpun was actually doing very well for himself. Even though he went through some fucked up shit, was awkward as it gets through his teenage years, he still kept going. Yet he fucks up because of stupid mistakes he makes.
And you have his uncle, the very definition of a fuck up, but he still gets by you know. Plus a whole shitload of other characters that you can get all sorts of perspectives from.
Even if you find Punpun completely miserable, then it makes you want to NOT be like him at the very least.
