Better adaptation than David's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure outside of Phantom Blood's blu-ray release. I'd consider it one of the better adaptations of a classic in the last 5 years.

Forced romance with Murano, the entire fight with that one fucking Toguro parasyte was lame, and the end was just bad. I'ts not terribel I'm just disappointed. 90s manga are overtly edgy as shit sometimes. Not that it is bad, but it kind of impacted the story.
I didn't like the message it was trying to show at the end, but the whole development of Shinichi, losing his humanity and learning to survive, adapt and work with migi was fantastic.
The problems were with how bad a character Murano was, how the school had multiple mass killings and attacks and remained open, and also how Shinichi was involved in so much of the parasite stuff and the police pretty much ignored him after questioning him a couple of times, and taking some hair.
