Post your manga collection.
Here's my small one that I'm slowly building on.

op you're a fucking pleb.
If lg (number of manga) < 3, then you don't need to bother posting your collection.
You'll save everybody some time and yourself the embarrassment.

I only collect figs.
Speaking of buying manga, I visited a bookstore for the first time in ages, and apparently Lament of the Lamb got licensed in my country.
I think it's the last straw that once and for all proves I'll never understand what the fuck the publishers are thinking. I mean, I'll buy it, I fucking love Toume Kei, but still.
Also spotted Mahoutsukai no Yome, that's also unexpected but nowhere near as bizzare as suddenly licensing a 20 year old seinen manga in a country where almost everything else is shoujo/fujoshit with a handful of shounen and where seinen is limited to a handful of of titles by an even smaller number of mangaka.

Can't you just ask your proxy to wrap it in Winnie-the-Pooh cover or something?
Can't wait for the Prison School 2-in-1 volumes in July.
why would I buy localized shit
People buy figs all the time, but they are against buying the actual source material in their language.
>buying anything
The industry needs to die in my lifetime so I won't miss anything that happens after I'm dead. You faggots aren't helping.

I think calling it "collecting" is the issue. Figures and shit like that are original items, while localized manga feels a bit... second hand. I mean, I buy localized manga from time to time, but I wouldn't say I collect them, it just feels wrong.
Just arrived.
I don't really get the hate against localizations. Shit, if there's a series I really love and I want to read it again in my native language then I'll buy the localized version. Fuck importing and leaving the book on my bookshelf to get dust while I read scanlations on my computer because I can't read in Japanese.
Granted, if there's a series that I feel will never get localized I might import the first volume for collector's purposes.

The impression I got from previous threads seem to be rooted in 2 main reasons
1. muh supporting the industry
2. people who post their collection of localized manga tend to be filled with casual/entry level stuff
GUNDAM THE ORIGIN VOLUME 9 COMING OUT IN 6 DAYS I'm FUCKING HYPED
Recent acquisitions: Lone Wolf and Cub omnibus 1, Garden of Words

I agree with you. Nothing like curling up on the couch with a stack of manga and reading through it. I prefer reading physical books anyway.

>I don't really get the hate against localizations.
I get the idea behind it, but the "buy vs. scanlation" and "localized/imported" shitflinging is getting old.
We already have little enough of manga threads without shitposting them to death.

Honestly on most shelf threads on/co/people who have decent selections of manga tend to have a diverse range of stuff. There isn't anything wrong with buying a full set of your favorite shounen/shoujo. You can enjoy that as well as enjoying other material. Also, the past 5-10 years have seen a lot of mature, literary titles being published. Look at>>124390962
who has multiple titles by Tezuka, Tatsumi, Matsumoto, and more. A lot of manga I see posted reflects this trend
