I don't think Koichi loved his 1st wife, but I think he does his 2nd wife, Mayumi and the twins' mother. She may have been the mistress while wife number 1 was alive. I remember Tatsuya making a skeptical remark about him remarrying during the parasite arc and I thought perhaps it was alluding to her having been a mistress at some point. It sort of explains why Mayumi and Masaki are so hung up on the love thing considering it's not the norm for the TMC abd they shouldn't get hopeful. But since their parents seem to have worked that way it's what they know and want.
Miya always looks so distant and cold, also like she lacks energy. She was probably too weak to show much emotion herself. I'm not sure that she was a very doting parent, Miyuki acts like Tatsuya is largely the only person to show much affection, warmth towards her. The concept of familial love is probably foreign to her, no wonder her feelings are all sorts of confused.
