Then how can I trick /a/ into posting good manga? I've read stuff that won awards, stuff that is considered 'classic', stuff ranked high on myanimelist, stuff by authors I like, etc. I know there is more good manga out there but I don't know how to find it.

Someone gave source on that a thread or two ago.
I know /a/utists sperg out when people ask for source, but I feel like thats the point of these threads, people post one page from a manga they enjoy to try and entice others to read it. So why not just put the name when posting?

It's complicated. It used to be that most people downloaded their manga, then when they extracted the images the source would automatically be in the filename. Dumb fucks would still ask for source, and those kinds of people shouldn't be welcome anywhere.
As time went by more and more people just saved their images from online readers. That stiff, don't ask for source culture remained, but it became, 'you should be able to use Google image search.'
Now it feels like people intentionally post images that don't search well or are hard to find the source of. Some of it is learned behavior, some of it is trolls, and some of it is people posting images they never found source for in other threads.
