Probably. She will be cured and then the manga will focus on developing her and Guts' characters. She obviously won't be the same exact person.
I think she is going to learn to have some self-respect. That was her biggest issue pre-eclipse, no self-respect. And seeing the only people that ever mattered to you be viciously slaughtered, only to be followed by being brutally raped by the one man you saw as a father-figure probably doesn't help with that.

One of my friends said he felt like shit for awhile after reading vol. 13. And I constantly see posts on here, /r/Berserk, and Skullknight than are similar to what he said.
Why? It's not even real. None of the characters are real people. It was written and drawn by some random gook in between sessions of jacking off to little girls. It's fiction. I mean, it was fucked up, but it's just a fucking manga. And as sad as that rape scene was supposed to be, I still fap to it occasionally because it's pretty hot. Fags seem to get all offended when I say that even when she's not even real. Why would I get upset about a drawing getting raped? Or other drawings getting impaled and eaten?

I get why it's fucked up and sad, but some people seem to get really torn up about it, to the point where it fucking depresses them IRL. I recall one post saying "You will feel a general sadness after reading the eclipse" on some website. I was just pointing out how stupid that is because it's not even fucking real. It's okay if you get a little shocked while reading it, but it shouldn't haunt your thoughts and ruin your day.

It's alright to feel shocked while reading or watching it. I did. But if you get to the point where you still feel like shit well after you finished it is a problem, because at the end of the day, while it was sad, it was also not real. There are plenty of things worth getting depressed about, a few pages in a manga is not.
