Mostly recap but I could see a number of new cuts and overall improvement, with the help of theater's visual&audio equipment. I found it quite satisfying but the story-wide it's just the same. Really, it is to refresh your memory and get you hyped for the coming new movie in April
The only thing I can spoiler is that a newly added part, which starts right after the final scene of the original anime.Mirai loses her memory for some reason. She doesn't even know who she is and of course about Akihito. But I have some strange feeling that it was already revealed in a trailer anyway...
