I got a how to draw manga book from a store in the Japanese part of EPCOT. It was really technical and covered shit like placing screen-tones and whatnot. The worst part of these types of shitty how to draw books is that they don't even teach you anything other than maybe how to draw the specific exact thing as the guy who wrote it. It never has any general information about technique or anything which can by applied to original work, just like "step one, draw this circle. Step two, attach a square and two more circles. Step 3 holy shit now it has legs and arms and hair and clothes somehow. Step 4 add a face and now you have this one picture of naruto or some shit." The type of person who needs a drawing book like that can't just figure out how to get from the 3 circles stage to a full drawing without just tracing it.
