(It's SoL of course, but there are some parts which I really feel like you should know about that weren't adapted, like Shion being bothered by Kyoro treating her as someone to be taken after with her lack of common sense and tries to dominate and tease him into respecting her more, with little effect)

In general the LNs have a lot less hair brushing (it was done in one volume and then mentioned from time to time, looks like dogakobo made a great decision to play it up) and a lot more bullying, every volume has a series of chapters which have Kyoro interact with another member in a specific order for a single chapter: Mao-Shion-Megu-Kirara, they even reference this in universe, and it's implied that Mao sets it up like this so it's fair with how much time everyone gets with Kyoro. Interpret that how you will, romantically or not. (although the author has said in an afterword that it was like a harem SoL that he was writing)
One of the volumes has driving each person to tears as the theme for those set chapters, including Kyoro. Yeah. They bullied everyone so much that they started crying and called it a club activity. Some people might not be ok with that, but the sadomasochist in me was very pleased.

Jill isn't actually related to Kirara by blood, Kirara was adopted. There are a few side characters, mainly classmates of the GJ-Bu that only ever get mentioned and show up maybe once. Mao has a female classmate that wants "normalfags like Kyoro to explode", because he's surrounded by beautiful girls. Kyoro mentions a few of his classmates but they never really show up.
Megu has a classmate that has a very obvious crush on her who drank the milk that came in their lunches everyday because Megu doesn't like milk, so he gets the nickname "Milk Knight". He duels Kyoro for Megu, in a competition of who can drink the most milk. Kyoro wins because his bladder has been trained by drinking so much of Megu's tea every day.

It's not like Megu knew what was going on in the duel, and Kyoro just got dragged into it and accidentally won. As for the helping Mao get together with Kyoro part, I'm pretty sure it's actually the opposite, Mao organizes activities in the club so that everyone gets equal amount of time with Kyoro, and there's a scene that was in the anime as well where they apparently had some agreement to not give Kyoro chocolate on valentines, presumably because they didn't want to fight amongst themselves.
Megu's niceness is expanded up in the LNs, where everyone jokes that she can only see things in a positive light, so even if 2 people were having a street brawl she would just see it as 2 people having fun together or something equally stupid.

There's another chapter where no one can find Tama, but they know she didn't leave, and then finally they find her sleeping inside a cardboard box like a cat. They take a video of it that gets millions of views on the internet and proceed to sell it at the cultural festival. (the clubs apparently have a system set up where they exchange specific tokens for favors and then lay things out at the cultural fair that can be exchanged for tokens like a self serve market, the GJ-Bu mostly sells stuff Megu knits).
Mao, Shion, and Tama in particular are super cute in the LNs. I actually feel sorry for you if one of those girls is your waifu and you can't read the LNs.
