Does a shonen anime or manga about dancing exist? If so, what is it called?
Dancing is a pretty dangerous and competitive sport. It's mentally and physically taxing as hell and as much as I love cute dancing anime shows, a shonen or seinen sports anime/manga about dancing is something that absolutely needs to happen if it hasn't already.

There's one currently running that's been pretty popular over the last couple years. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets an anime film or something.
Tribe Cool Crew is like that, I think. I haven't watched it yet though, so I don't know if it's any good.

It's shoujo but you should read Swan anyway because it's the Slam Dunk of dance manga.

Maybe it's an overstatement but like Slam the mangaka is very knowledgeable about ballet and explains it in a way that makes it easy to understand for people not interested in the sport. Her art also improves a lot over the course of the series and you can see it in most of the panel layouts and character proportions in later volumes. It even changes in style when it moves to NYC and the main character is introduced to modern dance performances.

No, despite the name it doesn't really have anything to do with dance. It's kind of like Medaka Box meets Gintamabut nothing near as good as this sounds
