Is this included in a BD or is it a separate release?
>>
>>121562778

Separate release.

It was listed on Amazon, both a first press and normal edition.
>>
>>121562778
>>121562817
Were they also planning to include the OST in the next BDs? Or was that something slightly different.
>>
>>121562926

I think that was referring to, the first press edition will also come with a bonus BD disk with the OST in 5.1 sound.

I miss Bahamut Threads. Good to hear that there's a date finally set for the OST, maybe it'll even contain the OP.

On another tangent, how are the cardfags liking the current event? Guess game Luci is a little more competent than we gave him credit for, he at least kills the player twice and Monika once. He is goddamn edgy though, I'll take his anime counterpart over him.
>>
>>121563763
Lucy is a lot more hetero than I expected, considering the amount of no homo we've seen with the past event characters. He did it all for her.
Also sucks it's another (non) random colossal event. I have no clue how to do well in those.
>>
>>121563763
So we can say Lucifer's current achievements include:
>killing a human
>killing a human little girl

>>121563914
Piqued, post more.
>>
>>121564936
Well to be fair after he kills the hero and Monika he sucessfully destroys all of Rivenbrandt. Unfortunately for him one of the spirits working under the Chronos decides, "Noope, this ain't happening" and takes the Hero and Monika back to the past.

Even loli h-doujin artists understand that you need to have a little Kaisar suffering in there. Thumbs up.

Lucifer refers to "her" in the opening. He says she chose eternity while he chooses oblivion, presumably she's kill. I'm not sure if they revealed her name in one of the boss fights since I skimmed to quick, was it Abby? Hopefully the anon in charge of the archives will post 'em up.

Speaking as someone who's not playing but has only read the logs from the blog my best guess would be that because she's one of the main characters for this event and a fallen angel. Basically game replacement for Azazel but seems more like nakama. She also seems more into lady bits? At one point Lucifer makes a remark to Hero's party not to pay mind to her lewd attitude.
Also for reference the cards introduced for jp equivalent of this event. http://blog.livedoor.jp/lucius300/archives/40732161.html
Characters who play active roles are here http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/lucius300/imgs/a/e/ae6e7f79.jpg

>>121566172
Seemed more like camaraderie, not explicidly romantic. Personally I didn't like what they did with Lucifer's rebellion much. Completely changed it from the original lore.
>>
>>121566562
What have they changed?
>>
>>121561986

Yes, I was at the Osaka event too. Most of what I can remember/has been reported by others is seiyuu-related stuff especially about Gou or more about what happened, so it probably isn't that interesting if you just want Bahamut info, but I'll go through my notes and see what there was.

-Firstly, a few people reported that they were showing the revised/BD versions, and there were more changes than at the Tokyo screening. So, there may be more at the Fukuoka screening in a couple of weeks.
-Compared to the Tokyo screening, there were a few more people who were seeing it for the first time. It also wasn't as full - it was still maybe 80% full, but there were some empty seats up the back, and they were still selling tickets on the day.
-The cygames guy was there to introduce the schedule, and MC Gou, who then introduced the director Satou and Yoshino for the talkshow.
-My memory might just be wrong here, but unlike at Tokyo this time they ended it with the "I'll be back!" end card, and the cygames guy came back to talk a little. Unfortunately no announcements, just some thank yous and so on.

-Gou asked a couple of questions to the other two, but after running out of things to say, they decided to ask the audience some questions. Gou was sent out with his microphone to be a field reporter.
-First question was "Why are Kaisar's eyelashes so long?" The gist of Satou's answer was basically, because they are.
-Second question, in the back corner of the hall. Asked to Yoshino, among the ladies in Bahamut, who was his favourite/his type? His answer was, he didn't think there were that many but maybe the bar girls or Amira's mother. Then he started talking about how the angels are technically sexless, so maybe even Michael would be okay.
>>
>>121566770

-Third question, was down in the diagonally opposite corner of the theatre. A guy asked as it was his first time viewing the show, could they recommend what are the good points and so on. I think Satou and Yoshino covered most of the common ones (the excellent picture quality etc) and then passed it on to Gou, who talked about the music.
-Last question, they let Gou pick who to ask. I think this was when they were asked, was there any cast member they thought did a particularly amazing job. Satou→ Shimizu. As her performance had both a cool side and childishness to it. Yoshino → Iwasaki (Bacchus). Gou → Hirata.
-Satou said on that note, there were times when there performances were similar, and he had to try to pull them apart.
-It must have been one of Gou's prepared questions, about if there were any lines of their character they particularly liked. Yoshino said he didn't particularly have any single line; Gou was about to say his, but stopped himself when he realised it would be a spoiler for the people who hadn't seen it. Based on his vague hinting, I think he was talking about the line in ep 11 where Kaisar greets him like "Captain Lavalley!", the line left an impression on Gou as Kaisar is still polite.

>>121561410
She's resting in pieces by that point.

>they decided to ask the audience some questions

I mean, *for some questions, that is.

And the topic of why the no DVD/Blu-ray only release came up, they mentioned something along the lines of wanting to record the audio and video in high quality, so they needed a media with enough capacity. (And likely also that they hadn't been planning any release at all at the start)

Thanks for reporting back.
>-My memory might just be wrong here, but unlike at Tokyo this time they ended it with the "I'll be back!" end card
Kind of interesting, because that was the version that hinted more strongly at a S2. Or maybe they just wanted some variety from the Tokyo airing.
>"Why are Kaisar's eyelashes so long?"
Suffering is a hell of a drug.
>"Captain Lavalley!"
He even calls him that when Rita reveals him as Gilles de Rais. That's kind of funny.
>>
>>121566687
From my very, very wonky understanding of the non-linear time line of this event Lucifer is less the cocky angel who got jealous of the light and conquered Zeus and more a PTSD torture victim by a goddess with a few screws loose.
>>
>>121567351
Has anyone ever asked about licensing? I mean, Bahamut is an international franchise right?
>>
>>121560166
Was there ever explained why everything about this show's merchandise takes so long? BDs are released later than normally, OST in April. Still not OP single. What the hell?
>>
>>121567696
Not muh Lucifer
>>
>>121567479

That was why I was hoping for something when the cygames guy came back on stage... ohwell. They did a few other little things differently this time too - they reminded people to not set phone alarms to go off during the show, which caused some grumbling last time, and seemed to encourage people more to take it easy as it's a very long screening.

It might have been when he says it during the reveal Gou was talking about then, he said it was either ep 11 or 12.

>>121567736

Not at the talkshow, but I think it has been briefly mentioned in a couple of text interviews. And, they did have a talkshow event in Taiwan last month.

As for the interviews, there was one online I can't remember off hand, and then in the recent one Satou did for the magazine Otona Anime, he mentioned he had been told by the producers that he should watch out for appealing to an overseas audience. The example I think was Rita being a zombie adds a horror element that would be more popular overseas, as just being a demon girl wouldn't be interesting enough.
>>
>>121567736
Simulcasted shows are all licensed. I wonder how many people watched it legally.
>>
>>121567821
Probably never planned initially. I mean, the show was never forecasted to be a stellar seller.

>>121567696

>Is she his love or what ?
I hope not. Her lore makes her look like a giant, fickle slut, too impure for Lucy. Azazel doesn't need his heart further shattered, if that's even possible.

>>121567976
>I wonder if we'll get a follow up to this event since it wasn't received well in nip land.
It would be rectone of a rectone, of a rectone. It's a shame it went like this because it'll probably be months until Lucifer's next appearance, if he even appears again at all.

Sexual dimorphism in card art/lore and sexual behaviour displayed by gods and angels alike would have you think otherwise, but maybe Yoshino didn't go that far into it.

>>121566788
Eh, about voice acting I can only agree with Yoshino to be honest. Iwasaki was great, but neither Amira's voice nor Hirata's performance had any greater impact on me. Shimizu was a disappointment from the start, I don't know where did they find her but her voice just doesn't suit this medium. As for Hirata, I though he was dry and lacking in feeling, like he wasn't into the role all that much.
