I love the Raildex series and I want to pick up the LN's. However I'm a slow reader and my mind slips away while reading a lot, even when I find what I am reading interesting.
Now given that I've watched both seasons of both index and railgun + the movie and manga:
Would it be worth it for me to bare with the earlier novels that the Animu/Mango already covered? Should I just skim through them or should I try to get my shit together to make sure I don't miss any details that the manga/anime doesn't really cover?

I still have suspicions about the relationships between the Tokiwadai girls. Neither Kamachi, Fuyukawa or Nagai has ever touched directly upon the subject of how Kuroko and Mikoto actually became friends. I feel like there's a major plot twist there with Misaki at the center of it. Kuroko's obsession with Mikoto is literally at its peak while Misaki is deeply suspicious of her, but the two suddenly drift apart as Misaki more directly interacts with Mikoto and warms up to her in her own twisted way. The Kiharas are able to do that yes, but with the focus that was given on getting Mikoto's DNA map for Raidio Noise I would assume that there is some physical aspect to it, else it would be easier to not have a whole whack of identical girls running around and making people remember cloning is illegal if they happen to spot them.
The only explanation I can sort of see if there is no physical aspect needed and they could have made the clones look like anything and didn't need to screw around with Mikoto to get the electromaster ability into a bunch of them is that it was to ruse Accel into thinking they were clones so he would go with the plan and eventually latch onto Last Order as a way to protect the hub of the network

I'd need to read the section where Othinus crushed the dragons again but I think they scale with the size of the threat. Othinus is only so tall (heh) so having 7 some dragons pop out wouldn't really be helpful as compared to when some giant ball of death is sitting in front of you and you need to get rid of it asap.
