Gowther's wild ride halted.
There's no reason to overcomplicate things.
>there's 3 brothers
>Estarossa is kind but still on the side of the demons
>Zeldoris is always practical and serious
>Meliodas is the most destructive and evil one of them and his personality is nothing more than a mask he was able to create when he fell in love with Liz, his destructive power is instantly recognized by the other members of ten commandments
It's the Anti-Trinity of God just how there are 10 Commandments as Demons.
Estarossa is not Zeldris nor Meliodas.
Zeldris is not Meliodas nor Estarossa.
Meliodas is not Estarossa nor Zeldris.
Yet, all 3 are some other being at once.
Meliodas = ???
Estarossa = ???
Zeldris = ???
Since it's the Anti-Trinity, probably the Demon King.
Goddess Clan tore him in 3 pieces in the last War.
Two of them were sealed away.
Meliodas was kept in this World so the pieces couldn't reunite when sealed away or he somehow managed to escape and the Goddesses allowed his presence under conditions he broke with the events of Danafor/Like being the forced champion of the Goddesses who is guarding the Coffin with his Sword and is supposed to stop anyone from trying to resurrect them.
However, he broke a condition 16 years ago which was falling in love with Liz (Who was probably also an Apostle like Elizabeth), thus the Goddess Clan manipulated some events and destroyed Danafor to set an example, taking everything he loves. His friend, his kingdom, his love.
Now Liz was reborn but Meliodas has enough of playing Lapdog which is why the Goddess Clan tried to use Ban to kill him cause their patience has run out.
Also take note that Meliodas' armor bears the triskelion.
"As Christianity came into the forefront in Ireland before the 5th century, AD, the triskele took on new meaning, as a symbol of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, therefore, also a symbol of eternity. Its popularity continues today as a decorative symbol of faith for Christians of Celtic descent around the world."
considering the information we have right now this sounds fairly accurate, i've been calling melodias as the damn demon king probably since the fighting tournament.
it would also explain the sheer assmad that one godess clan person had with melodias when ban accidently'd her with that giant ass horn.
I like this theory.
Nakaba probably played in SMT, so i will not be surprised if things will turn out to be this way.
>it would also explain the sheer assmad that one godess clan person had with melodias when ban accidently'd her with that giant ass horn.
Who says that was a goddess?
Maybe it was the actual demon king speaking through his own horn, demanding Meliodas to be killed as a form of revenge?
That thing looks fucking great.
inb4 they will transform Stonehenge in a huge golem as well
What if the Stonehenge is just the crown on the head of a giant golem beneath the earth? Arthur could pilot it to have a punch out against the monster moving against Camelot.
I hope this sword will eventually return.
Maybe as the weapon of a re-merged fully powered Meliodas? In case the trinity theory is true, anyway.
It seems that other clans did something horrible to demons in the past. They don't seem to be just a mindless killers, they are all smart and just driven by some idea.
Plus birds ain't even afraid of Estarossa while all animals ran the fuck away from transformed demon Dale.
I hope that they will not get killed and eventually form an alliance with Sins to take down the true big bad.
>I hope that they will not get killed and eventually form an alliance with Sins to take down the true big bad.
In best JRPG manner... it's gonna turn out that God is the enemy!
Bear the curse of the great will but don't worry, cause only bearing this curse you can walk the path of the conqueror.
>true big bad.
If there's a true big bad that's not the demon, then I'm betting it's the Goddess clan, can't ever trust heavenly being in a Japanese story.
I hope that he will get some sort of a sacred trasure that changes its size depending on how serious Mel is.
Dagger with blunt blade when he doesn't want to kill, normal sword when he fights against a strong enemy, huge fucking ass two handed sword when he's completely serious.
Well SMT Lucifer ain't that good either.
He wanted an unrestricted freedom and Demi-Fiend achieves it literally by killing the time and creation itself.
YHVH may be a tyrant, but it's because of him the world and life is possible.
That one time when looking it up gives little to no information either.
>Nothing is known about the god from literary sources, and details about his name, his cult or his significance in Celtic religion are unknown.
He was able to destroy at least Kagutsuchi which was a device that directly controlled the flow of time and cycles of creation.
It's impossible to say if he was able to take down the god because SMT universes are convoluted as fuck and outcome of the great battle is simply unknown.
But even his simple data copy in DDS was enough to be a strongest side boss in the entire fucking history of SMT, if not all games.
Either that or he is just a master of deception. Like an incubus.
>Estarossa being an animal magnet straight up gives away he ain't no ultimate villain
Not really. There has been a trend of big bads being completely at peace with nature and the world (while still being capable of massive cruelty).
Jesusfrom Drifters, comes to mind, as does Chakravartin from Asura's Wrath.
There's also that guy from Fairy Tail? Forgot what his name was. Kills everything living around him because of a curse that's powered by his love for life.
Looks like Gowther reflected on his Actions.
He returns the memories of Zeal and Guila and transfers the scene of Dale into them.
>When Merlin uses absolute cancel, he turns so small he is fitting into the palm of her hand.
That really confirms Gowther is a homonculus.
Since homonculus pretty much means "little man".
Oh, yes, nice catch. I knew it had something to do with a little person, but all I could remember about it was that it somehow had a relation to the "dwarf in the flask" from Full Metal Alchemist.
>Mel is unstable and turns into a country-destroying demon if his love interest is badly hurt
>Gowther is an ancient homunculus that was never finished and is unstable because if it, going full mindrape mode sometimes
>Ban has no sense of teamwork and can just get drunk on a mission, using his own power against his comrades
>Escanor seems to be hulking on a daily basis
>Merlin seems to have her own agenda
>Diane acts too rashly and gets hurt badly because of it
>King is the most stable and adequate member of a team but has horrible self-esteem problems
Gowther returns the memories to Guila and Zeal.
Guila shows no hatred or anything but understand his reasoning, saying it's her own fault for drinking the Demon Blood.
Gowther also gives them a Gift.
He transfers the scene with Dale from chapter 57 into them, his last words how he loves his children and so on.
Guila actually thanks Gowther and apparently is showing a little blush.
Gowther x Guila is legit
So who do you think its going to fight each Commandment?
Meliodas VS Zedoris
Meliodas vs Estarossa
Ban vs femban
King vs Octololi
Diane vs Heavy Armor Guy
Escanor vs Rapier Guy
Merlin vs caped girl
3 Misfits vs fraudin or alternatively
gowther and threader vs fraudin
as for the unholy four armed abomination and the unholy multifaced spectre, no clue
isnt that more about Hendricksen as a human though?even if Fraudrin is the weakest among them,he still believed that Gray Blood Hendricksen was at least somewhat more durable than him.
>Hendy travels to the land of druids while trying to make up for all his horrible mistakes
>absorbs the knowledge of his kin, unlocks some druid secrets while trying to free his best friend
>mortally wounded in a battle against Fraudrin but succeeds in freeing Dreyfus
Full spoiler translation.
Why's Mel being so mean to Elizabeth? Doesn't he know that just paves the way for ntr?
>mfw my theory of Elizabeth originally being Estarossa's girlfriend who was ntr'd by Meliodas comes true.
I think he's too far gone to be redeem, his personality is full evil now and I doubt even clearing away the demon blood from his body would help.
>the Knights are already in action
Time for some Round Table action? Nice.
But he wont die, and both will go in a journey. One that fujos will love, playing games and doing bro-stuff.
I'm kinda hoping the two Mel lookalike meet Elizabeth atleast once, I want to know if they know about the reincarnation cycle between Elizabeth and Meliodas.
This would've been possible if Spagetti Knight didn't get fully corrupted, I wonder if there's still some part of the original Dreyfus left in his mind now. Maybe they can use Gowther mind invasion again to weaken the demon and allow the true Dreyfus to regain control temporarily.
>I wonder if there's still some part of the original Dreyfus left in his mind now.
He's still there to a degree.
Random trivia of the day:
What does the historical Dreyfus share with the manga Dreyfus?
Both were apparent traitors working for the other side.
Real Dreyfus was later acquited and proven innocent. Regained his position and honor and even fought for his homeland in WWI.
If Manga Dreyfus is based on this Dreyfus then he too could be freed from Fraudrin and fight alongside humans at some point.
Just throwing that in here.
>he turns so small he is fitting into the palm of her hand.
First macrophilia, now microphilia?
>Real Dreyfus was later acquited and proven innocent. Regained his position and honor and even fought for his homeland in WWI.
Once Faudrin is dealt with he's probably going to help defeat the rest of 10 Commandments
Are you including King in that fight fight? Sounds like a must-see.
As if Threader would die so easily.
He's NnT's conan.
>Muscular dude with flowing long and black hair
>Raised by/from a tribe of wild barbarians
>Tough as fucking nails
He, plus the three stooges, are as of now the most likely human characters to get a powerboost to reach seven sins levels.
>Weinheidt will never have a Tigre-off with Gowther
>Jillian will never compete with Merlin on a catwalk
>Hugo will never have more than one line
I'd trade Simon for any of the other Dawn Roar knights.
>If it drops on Tuesday it's already a whole week late
Not really, it would be on real time instead. Remember we get every chapter translated before japanese readers can buy the magazine and read it themselves.
WSJ manga comes out the Thursday before the Monday the magazine hits Japanese shelves. WSM, which Sins is in, comes out on Sunday, and we get the chapter in between the Saturday before and the Tuesday after.
For now I'd like NnT to continue its ride, on equal or improving quality.
Then I'll worry about the next steps.
However, NnT seems to be fairly successful, right? That's a good thing for the future I hope.
>What would you like to see in the next work of Nakaba?
We're probably getting a sequel. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-01-19/the-seven-deadly-sins-manga-1st-of-3-planned-arcs-ends/.83434
After that I'm with you, Three Musketeers would be a killer in his style.
Cause Nakaba is one of the most passionate Mangaka of all time with godly work ethics hailing from the simple fact that he simply loves Manga.
He's one of the few who you can truly say he's doing this not for money but cause he simply loves doing it.Nanatsu no Taizai fulfills the dream he had since being a child, cause he said he always wanted to create a series that people simply have fun with the way he had when reading Dragon Ball.
BUTTOBASU RAN DOM SUTAIRU DE IKOU YO
I'LL TAKE 20
I said I would never accept Guila when her name was changed, but I eventually did. But, this time I feel like Threader is far superior to Slader. Where did they get the official name from?
With the realization that Zaratras' ability is called Purge (although I'm just guessing on what Purge does, I'm pretty sure it could get rid of Acid), in doesn't make sense to me how Hendricksen was able to use Acid to poison him.
Could it be that Zaratras knew Fraudrin had possessed his brother? And that Dreyfus' life was being held hostage? If that was the case, I could see Fraudrin/Dreyfus tricking Hendricksen into thinking that his Acid would last long enough for them to kill Zaratras, or that they'd be able to occupy his time enough to keep him from using Purge on himself.
But Crunchyroll has changed names before that RHS hasn't. Like Hauser. They did change Hendricksen to Hendrickson (>>121382905), which is just annoying because it fucks up the consistency. I understand updating names, but I guess I just don't like it.
Why is he so perfect, /a/?
I suppose Threader -> Slader is too huge of a different (something you can't attribute to accent, for instance) so RHS decided to change it so people who bought the figs wouldn't be confused. The others are pretty minior.
Posting the poll.
I bet Threader is going to start dressing Gowther's doll up.
>What is it you love about Ban?
Next page is >>121382905
Next page is >>121383112
Will she ever go back to life?
>There's a way to bring her back to life, but that would make Ban mortal again
>he does it, obviously
>he becomes a wrinkled old guy
>they live together for the few years Ban has left
>Wanting another King filler when Diane had to share hers with him, Gowther doesn't have one, Merlin doesn't have one, and Escanor isn't even a thing yet
Even though Mel and Ban were joking it would've been a shame. Shoot, Nakaba might even do it.
>"King!! The errand with his life on the line!! What he obtained after bawling his eyes out!!"
>"King: The great naked apron bridegroom training plan!!"
The suffering never ends.
Please let Nakaba draw these for real.
I'm glad that Diane didn't get her memories erased.
With Threader joining the party, I'm surprised Mel went to Camelot when Zel is lollygagging around Edinburgh. There must be some sort of plot armor preventing Merlin from just teleporting it into the sun, of course.
I wonder how much sway Kodansha USA has in regards to the romanized names? I've heard the official release is pretty inconsistent. Fucking bastards don't give a shit about QA.
>Gowther wants to know about love because he doesn't know why his wood grows big
>Gowther is actually Pinocchio
>Pinocchio was actually a story about puberty, i.e. boys lying when they grow up because feeling ashamed of masturbation
Hah. That really simplifies the problem. I wonder how long it'll take for Gowther to return to action and whether it'll be before or after King returns to the group.
Aldan is the name of Merlin's Sacred Treasure, I'm guessing. Any special significance to the name?
>name of Merlin's mother in Welsh versions of Arthurian tales
Nakaba has deepest lore
You know what, this makes perfect sense.
I don't think Gowther would give up that easily. He only gave up because he knows he's not a match for Merlin and needed a contingency plan in case Merlin absolutely wrecks him. He's secretly fucked up Diane's mind now.
Why was Oslo ranked so high and Hawk so low?
