Kind of embarrassing but I had this page done, but for some reason I hid the type and redraw layers and forgot to re-enable them. V2 on madokami sometime I guess.

Did you try the Puppet Warp tool? It's quite handy to move single objects, like letters, around.

For a quick typeset it's; no SFX, some SFX only, SFX on SFX. I would prefer doing the first 2.

Yes, but scaling the letters down has almost no quality loss. I'm not too experienced with it, though. Just a thought I had.
