Is a guilty pleasure something bad from an artistic standpoint (poorly written) that you enjoy anyway or is it something morally reprehensive to the average person, regardless of it's artistic quality, that you are able to appreciate without the feeling of self condemnation?
Because the popular concept seems to be tied to the former concept, but the idea of guilt itself indicates a moral distress.
