In Volume 6/7 Megumi loses to Eri when she asks to keep the MC's glasses that Megumi got for him. But then she also then loses to Utah when she comes in and kisses the MC right in from of Eri.

This happens every time.
LNs usually have 5+ volumes by the time it gets an adaptation, but only 4 or 5 of these volumes will get properly adapted, so the juicy parts or the climax of the story will be left out.
In the end all you get from the show is "Yeah, it was fun. Buy the LNs for more fun!".
From the top of my head, I can remember Inou Battle and Mondaiji-tachi being like this.
Not all LN adaptations have this problem, sure, but from the comments of this thread it seems like this might be a case.
