Yeah, they've been promoting the rebroadcast pretty heavily. In fact I think it got higher ratings than original broadcast on BS11 (though there were several channels airing it at the time, so it's not fair to compare).

Well, they were still advertising BDs during the showing (I think it was this ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6b76qW65E3U but with all 6 BDs at the end), would've been cool if they showed up on Oricon again but I doubt it.
I think 2nd season is pretty much in the bag, but there might be not enough manga to adapt. Or maybe they're thinking about a 2 cour season. Yama no Susume had a 2 cour second season, so Usagi can too.
