I'm reading HF, I'm shortly after the sex scene, and so far I've seen nothing worthy of hating Sakura like a lot of people do. I mean, yeah, she has shit tier self-esteem and is fucked in every sense of the word, but the only fault I find in her is that she doesn't take the correct measures to deal with her own inner demons. Like Saber says, she makes mistakes and sometimes thinks about horrible shit (like hurting Shirou so badly he won't be able to go out and fight), but instead of correcting herself, she punishes herself out of shame and self-hatred.
I do find weird that suddenly nobody gives a fuck about killing her, not even Rin, when they find out about the crest worm. Suddenly Archer is up for it, Rin is ready to blow her head? Where did all their sympathy go? They're acting nothing like they did in the previous routes, is weird.

Well at the very least you're up to what is pretty much the best part of the whole game, UBW is undeniably the most "solid" route but I'd say that HF's had higher highs, as you're about to see. Granted I found Sakura and Rider to be the least interesting characters in the whole VN so the focus on them sours my overall impression of the route, though for all intents and purposes more often than not HF equally feels like an Illya route (which it originally was, the plot was supposed to branch off into two with the choice of either Sakura or Illya but had to be scrapped due to time constraints so Illya's route was merged with Sakura's. This is kinda funny because upon a second read-through you can really see the skeleton of Illya's cut route.) I also had a big issue with its treatment of a certain character, Caster in particular, as she really didn't have to go out the way she did and could have easily been implemented into the storyline as a temporary servant for Shirou post-losing Saber, with her motive being revenge against the shadow and True Assassin for taking her beloved's life from her. The theme of the revenge also ties into the final arc of HF so what could have been her character arc in HF could have been a great precursor to the stuff coming up later. Also I just found Caster to easily be the most interesting, and my favorite servant as well as character in the game along with Shirou, Kotomine, and Illya so her whole role just being to conveniently show Rule Breaker is pretty jarring.

Gen Urobutchi was the one that founded Type-Moon, he wrote the awesome dark stories of Type-Moon like Saya no Uta, Tsukihime, Kara no Kyoukai and Fate/Zero. After Fate/Zero, they got popular so they started milking with more Fate. Urobuchi didn't like this as he wanted to write new fresh material, so he left. They got a new writer, Kanako Nasu, from some second rate harem Hentai-game company and she wrote Fate/Stay Night and Carnival Phantasm. Urobuchi returned briefly to Type-Moon and wrote Mahou Tsukai no Yoru in 2012, but it didn't get popular because only moeshit sells these days unlike in the 90s, when Urobuchi wrote his Type-Moon classics

How many times has Nasu said, by now, he's done writing the Fate series?
I remember he said he was done with it after HA, then RN happened. After RN, he said that was just an addition that had to happen, and that with it, he felt he was done with the franchise.
Then Extra and CCC happened, and he, once again, said he was done with the Fate franchise for good.
Now, not only is he writing the plot for Grand Order, he also wants to write a new Extra - and this is despite being long overdue with the rest of the Mahoyo VNs AND the Tsukihime Remake.
I'm glad the guy shows love for his own work, and wants to write more of it, but he really, really needs to organise himself better and finish the project he's already supposedly working on.
