Cat Soup.

At one point there's a scene in which a cat (the MC) and a pig are starving on a boat, so the MC cuts the pig open, removes a chunk of the pig's meat and cooks it, and shares the meal with the pig.

It was a nice movie.

Wanpaku Ōji no Orochi Taiji. I haven't seen evidance of this anywhere but I wouldn't be surprised if this movie's art style influenced the Wind Waker art team
