I think the series composition guy for the TF anime might have been a bad choice. Looking over his track record on ANN doesn't give me a particularly good impression (apart from working on based Milky Holmes) and Hamasaki's direction hasn't been able to completely salvage it either.But speaking of Hamasaki I was half-expecting to see some grainy Texhnolyze episode 1 Takeshi Koike-esque sakuga for Kenji's boxing matches but that was definitely a bit of a stretch and all-too-wishful thinking.

After dropping the show when it was extremely censored after episode 1, I checked it out again out of curiosity.
I have come to the conclusion that it is the best show at the moment.
The cinematography, the shots, it is fucking amazing and hasn't been brought to the screen in this kind of quality, especially for TV, in a long, long, long time.
The production value and the whole visual design is top percentage (even if a few episodes show lesser quality) and makes up for many of the logical flaws, etc, for me.
The removal of the censorship fixed everything and made this the greatest chinese cartoon to air at this moment in time.
