I would put together a studio here in Canada, probably on the west coast, that follows the nip norms of animation to a tee.
I'd commission productions of series with slightly edgy down-to-earth anime full of melodramatic overtones a la Watanabe's style with art style of the polar opposite to moe. I'd shoehorn viral marketing throughout America until this "North American" anime became the biggest "hipster" phenomena of all pop culture here in the past decades until it boils over and becomes so mainstream that HBO and Netflix are handjobbing me to outright reproduce my garbage and stream it themselves.
