Hey guys just dropped my s7 and cracked the screen. I have insurance with my provider but what Is the best way to fix this issue? It's obviously pretty new so should I just replace it or try and repair the screen? Halfway expect some stupid responses but if anyone can help it would be cool..

In the levels editor, move the left ends of the two sliders to the right a little bit. How much to move them depends on the picture.
For film grain, make a new layer, fill it with noise, and set the blend mode to lighten or some shit.
If you're really feeling creative, add a coler overlay on the first layer, and make it dark purple or some kind of half-saturated almost black color. Then dick around with its blending mode until it looks halfway decent.

You just gotta fool around with he options until you find the look you want. The most important features, if you wanna achieve the "instagram filter" look, are adjustment layers and layer masks. You can add an adjustment like hue/saturation, then create a mask, then draw on mask with the circular gradient tool for the feathered sphere effect and voila. For effects like blur you can duplicate the picture layer, put in on top of the original, apply a filter like gaussian blur, and then mask the duplicated layer so that the original image's parts start showing through. Once you get those basics, it's just experimentation until you get the look you need.

6p has a bigger battery and screen. However, S7 has a Snapdragon 820 on 4gigs of ram while the 6p sits on an 810(last gen) and 3gigs of ram. And the bigger battery is more than offset by the large screen and ever so slightly less efficient CPU making for a fairly equal use time. I like both, but I'm an aesthetics whore for smooth design. Wall papers look great on these phones.

I know the specs from working with phones. Nexus is all around better software wise and doesn't crack from a 3 inch drop. 4gb of RAM for bloatware just about evens the rest out.
