I'd like to try and toss an idea just to see if it's already been picked up or if anyone wants to do so, mind that I'm talking from Peak Ignorance (I've been a lurker in these threads for a couple of years and I really enjoy this community)
Anyway,since "we" (game enthusiasts) don't have a very good collective memory about "our" past, has anyone ever thought about doing a sort of webcomic about the history of consoles from the very first one, following the main facts throughout the decades in a sort of DidYouKnowGaming way? I think this might actually be a good way to use some older or less popular tans; give a sort of canon status to some that don't have a uniformed design (looking at you PSP); strengthen this nice comfy commuty and finally it might be a good way to shit something good for once again out of this website.

Long time lurking Drawfag here. I really enjoy these Console Tan threads. Just wanted to contribute some steam-tan designs.
Here are some design thoughts:
- Due to little exposure and lack of official marketing, I think Steam-Tan is best as a shy timid character. She is also very modest and does not assert herself unlike her PC cousin.
-Her controller design is reflected in her super round reading glasses.
- Due to her introverted-ness she likes to spend a lot of time reading from her large library of books which reflects steam's large game library.
-She has an apparent face to reflect steams aim to streamline PC's for the general public. Having a face means she was to be recognized easier.
-She has Linux boots based on her steam OS.
Of course her personality and traits are ultimately decided by the community, but I just wanted to do something for fun. I was also thinking she has a fraternal male twin to represent the variations of steam machines. I'll post it once I get around to the male version.
