Nah, they can't remove it. The Don plays a big part of the opening, and it creates the silly vibe between the protagonist and his possible crushes.

I have never gotten close to finishing FF7, even with mods. Walking through the Shinra building in Sephiroth's wake of destruction though was pretty spooky. Hope they retain the atmosphere
