Never. Infinity settled itself in on the PS3 and Bamco don't seem confident they can carve out the same niche on the new platforms. Anything new related to Ace Combat but not to Infinity would jeopardise a perfectly good tank of F2P whales who would potentially stop spending money on Infinity unless it lacked the same replay value of the old games an came with a reason to keep playing Infinity / a microtransaction-driven MP for that game.
Writhe in my cage of torment my friend.Some of the missions (assuming you can roll them or stand their campaign variants) are fucking amazing even when you're being dragged down or left behind by other players, like the HD Stonehenge attack or SOLG pursuit. They're both examples of the Assault Horizon engine's increased detail being used better than in that game, especially whenever Stonehenge fires. If Project ACES were given the budget to make a new Ace Combat it would be pretty good.

You haven't played on survival, mate. Or you have barely played the game at all.
The dueling deathclaw encounter happens in a relatively early location in the game, at a point where you are unlikely to have an assault rifle. Add to the fact that the deathclaws didn't have a skull icon, and you can make a safe bet that the player was probably of a higher level than normal for the area.
And yes, you can do that much damage without having a broken legendary. I did it myself with a semi-auto combat rifle. Also, those are normal deathclaws who aren't actually that difficult - compare them to the alpha, savage, or glowing deathclaw.

Far sky consists in story and sandbox mode, it's the esact same thing but in story mode you also have to collect submarine parts to get to the surface, and sandbox has permadeath, both last around 4-5 hours. It's good but it's poor on content.

I need to know, now. Turok Dinosaur Hunter is the game that defined my childhood. I will never forget, the summer of 97. Running out to Toys R Us a month before my birthday during a 4th of July party. My uncle legit hooked me up with an N64 and any game of my choice, and I picked Turok. Finally got home, had to figure out how to hook it up to our nice big TV. I had only hooked up NES and Sega Genesis before that moment so all I knew was RF adapters. These funky RWY cables were fucking with my head. Input? What the fuck is input? How do I switch to this input? My 9 year old brain scrambled to figure it all out and I did. I flipped on the switch, saw the intro legal text and the Acclaim/Iguana logos just in time for my dad to come storming in the house, demanding I get off the TV so he can use it to show his friends some UFO conspiracy fucking thing he recorded off like the History channel or something. The N64 did not come with an RF adapter and my TV didn't have component input. One minute I'm literally the N64 kid on the 4th of July, the next I'm the guy from that Twilight Zone episode where he has all the time in the world to read to his content, but he breaks his fucking glasses.

You can get the old PC version running in widescreen and at 60 fps with a little hex editing. It's one of the better ports I've played from the N64 and PS1 era.

Yeah I knew about the port remaster coming out in a month ish. I can't wait. I have the original Turok 1 and 2 for PC but they don't run right under 64 bit Windows. The executables are so old that they're not even 32 bit applications. They're 16 bit and can only run under 32 bit OS. Unless you know some hack to fix that, besides installing a VM with a 32 bit OS because that's what I had to do about 7 years ago on Windows Vista.

The game is working fine for me on Windows 7 64 bit. The first one. I get a few errors when starting the game but I haven't noticed any issues with graphics or physics or anything. I downloaded it from some site called Abandonia and found a fix for widescreen on WSGF. You just have to put a flag on the executable to get it running at 60 fps.
