Let's just stick to what actually matters: Personality and Powerset. We're all Jumpers who probably have a dozen ways to change their companions bodies here.
>>48165641
>Flat is Justice
No it isn't.
>>48165663
this one understands. But i would ask the harem jumpers why not both and everything in between?
>>48165641
Motherfucker Flat is lies. Massive Mammaries is the true path to justice!
It seems we have a divide present. Justiceanon your thoughts?
Are there any perks that let you do science in worlds where that science wouldn't normally work? Say, if I want to build Mass Effect relays in a jump where gravity can't be controlled by scifi pixie dust?
>>48165727
Can't you just do that with the relevant science perk?
>>48165641
>>48165676
>>48165705
>Not knowing the Thighs, Asses and Hips are the truest path to freedom.
>>48165727
If you buy a science perk then the laws of physics that allow that science perk to work are now enforced via Jump-Chan fiat.
>>48165697
As a harem jumper, I'm with you. Why not Everything?
I spend a ridiculous amount of my multiversal power and resources getting off. I've got my 100% strength self duplicate running around as a genderswapped version of myself so I don't have to gendershift just to use lady-oriented powers.
Also, you wouldn't believe the look on some people's faces when they tell you to go fuck yourself, and you do it. while forcing them to watch.
>>48165781
I refuse to accept advice given by someone with a proto-Tera haircut.
>>48165800
Hey, that's unfair. Don't let your dislike of him influence your opinion of all pompadours.
Darksiders.
How the shit am I supposed to decide between Drop In and Angel? They're both fucking amazing trees with fantastic capstones.
>>48165800
>Refusing to take advice from Space Dandy because of Tera.
That's like hating Charlie Chaplin for having a toothbrush mustache that hitler had.
>>48165766
Ah, you need a perk for that?
What if you can emulate conditions of that universe?
So what, unless you took a science perk then your science gadgets from other jumps are useless?
>>48165697
This is the one true path!
>>48165786
this is not the expected response.
BUT I APPROVE YOUR LIFESTYLE!
>>48165765
Breasts are what separate mankind from the animals.
Breasts are the future.
Breasts are evolution.
Breasts are the way forward.
People who prefer asses are regressive neanderthals who cling desperately to an obsolete past.
Breasts face forward, asses face backwards.
>>48165818
>>48165826
He tainted it. I will forever associate it and the people that wear it with rampant douchebaggery.
Have you ever went with a less-efficient background because you hated the flavor of one?
>>48165831
No. Things you bring with you are protected by Jump-chan fiat and are assumed to work anywhere. But new things you build aren't.
>>48165831
The ones you picked up/stole still work but you cannot make new ones yourself.
>>48165800
First off you fool, it's called a pompadour.
And secondly, bancho doesn't hold domain over them.
They were cool before he existed, they'll be cool long after our entire species is dead and the sun turns red.
When the ayys arrive at the barren dead rock that is earth in 1 billion years, they'll see the pompadour and realize:
We were like gods.
>>48165765
'tis but one half of a whole my friend.
>>48165858
Harry Potter, I went with Half-Blood over pureblood. Because pureblooda are invariably idiots and all of the most important people are Half-Bloods.
>>48165870
If you had posted this first it would have been much more compelling.
>>48165870
Hey Manyfist, what would happen if I fused two different color Lantern Rings or two different color Lanterns?
>>48165831
>Ah, you need a perk for that?
Some people say so. Some people say you can just make tech if you learn how it works. Personally, I just tend to pick up the science perks and don't worry about it.
>What if you can emulate conditions of that universe?
That'd work, of course.
>So what, unless you took a science perk then your science gadgets from other jumps are useless?
Everything you take with you still works. It's making new stuff that's somewhat 'contested'.
>>48165876
>Because pureblooda are invariably idiots
There's nothing saying that YOU have to be an idiot, your out of jump memories might help change your tune.
>>48165876
>Because pureblooda are invariably idiots
Ya know.
I wanna argue that.
But I can't.
Not even the good ones had any common sense.
Since those tips about using dark magic safely came in a couple threads ago, I've been wondering - what's the best way to drum up apologists?
I want "jumper did nothing wrong" to be an actual topic of videos and forums.
>>48165850
>Breasts are what separate mankind from the animals.
I mean, that is technically true. Breasts are something that pretty much just human females have. While strategic deposits of fat are considered secondary sexual features by lots of species, humans are the only one where those fat deposits are around the mammary gland. Look at pretty much any other mammal, they don't have them. The closest you can say is that an udder is kind of like a breast, but really that's just because the mammary gland itself is so swollen in ungulates.
>>48165866
Nah. It still looks moderately stupid, even when it's not bancho'd into ludicrous stupidity.
Your hair-waifu is shit.
>>48165926
Those kinds of perks are called "beauty" perks.
>>48165926
FF VIII gives you a fan club for 200CP.
>>48165850
But checking out someone's breasts while you two are walking in the same direction means one of you is looking backwards. Checking out her ass means you're both walking forward.
>>48165919
Inbreeding is not a good long term plan.
>>48165899

>>48165919
The only competent purebloods in the series are Fred and George.
Which just leads me to believe Molly was getting some muggle assbon the side.
>>48165948
THIS! This anon speaks the truth!
>>48165948
It also means you're walking behind her, suggesting that either you play the role of Yamato Nadeshiko toward your waifu or you make your waifu act as your point man.
Neither of these is acceptable.
>>48165926
>tips about using dark magic safely
Anyone have a link?
>>48165926
YouTube Jump gives you a fanbase.
>>48165960
Fred and George were great, but they aren't completely blameless. They had the map, how come they never noticed that there was constantly another person in their brothers dorm, in his bed. Someone that doesn't even go to the school. How come they sold love poisons. Sure, they were geniuses but they lacked a lot in the common sense department.
No amount of meme magic will make retarded hair less retarded.
Jumpers!
What businesses do you own and operate regularly? Do you use them to benefit the people around you or do you use them to mercilessly troll the unsuspecting.
Tell me your tales of capitalism!
>>48165889
Fanwank it.
>>48165983
Or that you're walking behind her to check out her ass.
>>48166018
>how come they never noticed that there was constantly another person in their brothers dorm, in his bed
Maybe they just though Ronnie was into boys. How would they know he wasn't a student?
>How come they sold love poisons.
Probably worried they'd miss out on business from horny teenagers.
Hey, I never said they were morally spotless, just that they were the most competent purebloods.
>>48166030
At this point I have a General Store (Shop Deed), Two Restaurants (Los Pollos Hermanos and GELATERIA), A Health Store (Money Maker), and a Theatre (Teatro La Fenice). Most of them become chains which sell pretty much everything that can't be easily weaponized.
Does the Horcrux you can buy mutilate your soul and make you into a sociopath like making a normal one would?
>>48166118
Probably not, seeing as it's an item provided by Jumping Mechanism, not something you made by mutilating your soul.
>>48165926
Counter Strike has a perk you may find useful:
>The Fans (100CP):Whenever you take part in any kind of conflict, you gain loyal followers that cheer you on on message boards, chats, streams, and any other kind of forum or method of communication that may exist in the jump. You occasionally may get donations, ranging from small gifts to, rarely, large amount of money. You are also easily considered for induction into pro teams, or maybe sides of a war (depending on what you are doing) due to your abilities.
>>48166087
far and away the most competent, I just think they should have done better.
>>48166150
CS has way more valuable stuff than that though.
>>48166161
Faie enough.
>>48166030
Well, funny you should use that image, because I bought the biotech firm in Resident Evil that follows you between jumps. I've used it for both the "benefit the people" and "troll the unsuspecting" paths, often at the same time. You know how there are several jumps where the fate of human evolution and transhumanism and all that is the central conflict? It's good for messing with those world by making transhumanist augments ridiculously cheap so that everyone can have them. Deus Ex: Human Revolution? Here, have a treatment that makes neuropozyne permanently unnecessary. Sorry, Megan, publish or perish. Gundam SEED? Post-natal gene mods so that anyone who wants to be can have even better capabilities than a Coordinator. Sorry, though, they're keyed to the natural genome and so don't work on people who already are Coordinators. Neon Genesis Evangelion? Voluntary telepathic implants so that we can understand each other without dissolving into a sea of souls, plus immortality drugs to get at the real reason SEELE cared about it. Oh, and we've got some awesome biomechanoids of our own that anyone can pilot, NERV, if you want to stop traumatizing children.
>>48166101
I'm pretty sure Los Pollos is from Breaking Bad, but where did you get the others?
>>48166172
It's only 100 CP, though. It's easy to spare 100 CP for a fun starter perk.
>>48166145
Probably copies your soul with a link to the original. Which for some jumpers would give them 10 souls(not counting souls eaten with dark binding) Soul Eater can be a fun jump for perks.
>>48166172
Buy Mode is overpowered. It practically gives you unlimited blade works except better, because the weapons you buy aren't just projections.
>>48166183
Recettear, Breaking Bad, ARIA, Captain Planet, ARIA again.
>>48166198
I'm honestly a little disappointed that the only thing people ever care about in Soul Eater is the monster cat thing. It was some really neat stuff.
>>48166220
Thank you.
>>48166228
I also grabbed strong soul and grigori soul(sadly not enough cp to get the upgraded grigori soul or half a dozen other things I wanted)
>>48166228
I think Monster Cat is completely useless for what it's worth.
>>48166183
you can also get a bar with infinite booze from bayonetta, a farmers market kinda thing from food fight, and some sort of business from black lagoon.
>>48166228
That's how it goes for most Jumps that have a gimmick. People completely ignore everything about them except the gimmick.
>>48166118
>Soul Mutilation
I'm not sure if mutilation is the right word in this case but IIRC the jump one is still made from a torn off fragment of your real soul.
>make you into a sociopath like making a normal one would
You have that the wrong way round, the method of making a horcrux requires you to be a psychopath in the first place, so to answer that question you need to answer two others
1. Are the items and abilities directly granted by Jump-chan, or are they things your background picked up the normal way.
The answer to this is entirely up to your fanwank, but unless background you made the horcrux like a "normal" person you shouldn't start off as a psycho.
2. Does the horcrux make a non-psycho go psycho.
As covered above this is impossible to test directly, so the closest you could get is trying to make some with a horcrux into a good person, if that is impossible you can conclude that the horcrux enforces that mind set. However there is no cannon answer to this so once again up to how you wank.
>>48166030
Generally in modern and scifi jumps, I just have some supercomputers running automated trading on the stock market.
Sometimes I'll also steal it via hacking various rich assholes.
And sometimes, I even combine the two, trading stocks of companies I know are about to have a really bad day.
>>48166228
I went there just to learn soul menace
Also to give Medusa head pats but that's neither here nor there.
>>48166228
It's just what gets brought up the most.
Personally, I also like the soul-boosting stuff, and the Demon Weapons... Though without an import option, Demon Weapons lose a lot of appeal to me.
>>48166179
>NERV, if you want to stop traumatizing children.
They dont.
>>48166228
If it's any consolation I went there to become a witch and then picked up Uplift so I could make magi-tech demon tools.
>>48166228
I completely ignored it. Went Student Meister, took the anti-Madness perks, and never looked back.
>>48166385
Actually, can someone explain to me how the magic is supposed to work there? Is it just personalized stuff that's mostly elemental and based on what animal you chose?
Are there general spells anyone can learn?
>>48166385
I meant to ask, if you pay to be a Male Witch and buy Uplift, are you literally a Sorcerer, or still just a really powerful Witch?
Out of curiosity, what are some perks that let you download data/information from a computer directly into your head?
So when pomemon sun and moon come out will we get a new pokemon jump?
>>48166407
Most magic for Witches is tied to their animal theme. However there's at least two spells that any of them can use, those being Soul Protect (which conceals the appearance of their souls until they use magic), and the butt portals (though it might be Maab doing the actual magic there).
>>48166407
Also, does the Sway of Magic make people actually evil, or just make people more likely to blow shit up and generally use destructive magic with less inhibition?
>>48166439
Nope. Cross your fingers and hope you roll an 8.
>>48166439
I can't see that happening unless there are massive changes to the formula. I could see there being a slight update though.
>>48166450
Thanks.
>>48166366
Yes, obviously. But giving them the offer is a nice way to tweak their nose.
After looking at the Ship section in OT I have to ask, how is all this supposed to fit in a 25-50 meter long ship? Even the best case scenario you have 540 square feet to work with and that is overly optimistic. Is the ship bigger on the inside than it is on the outside?
>>48166228
Actually, while I talk a lot about Monster Cat basically any time I have the chance, it's more of a rebuttal to the people who argued (passionately) that it was a useless perk and shouldn't be included in the jump because it was useless. I think it's neat, therefore as a person who took the perk, I'm happy to mention it any time it has a use.
In terms of neat stuff, though, I actually have more fun with Madness Wavelength. Through research of my own wavelength, I've managed to render a fairly huge section of the bottom levels of my warehouse as non-euclidean!
It's dangerous to wander around down there.
It periodically manifests clowns.
I also picked up Excalibur while I was there, too. He's one of my drawback companions.
>>48165697
I concur! As a jumper, I can't possibly be limited to a single form!
THIS IS WHAT SHAPECHANGING IS FOR.
>>48166030
I'm not really good at capitalism. Usually I just throw up research stations and laboratories to study setting-related things and look all official. But occasionally THOSE research stations in turn sell things to people, usually when the stated goal is to upgrade setting technology levels. Then we usually run into a jRPG situation where most major breakthroughs are provided by a single superscience'd research institute.
There's generally a palpable improvement in day-to-day living, but there's only so much you can do in ten years. You gotta give people time to acclimate, after all.
>>48166469
What about the new Rotodex?
>>48166228
Personally, I just care about the Pointy Hat I got there.
...I just really, really like it, for no real reason I can discern.
>>48166436
Matrix Jump?
>>48166520
It's something new, but it's pretty much just adding some features and a personality to the Pokédex. So not really a "New Jump" level of change, but maybe an option if Quicksilver feels like changing it. Maybe you can upgrade your Pokédex for 50-100 CP.
>>48166514
>the people who argued (passionately) that it was a useless perk and shouldn't be included in the jump because it was useless
Hi
>>48166520
Isn't that just Rotom possessing a pokedex?
>>48166574
Hello.
>>48166228
For what it's worth, that's not at all what Soul Eater was for me. I don't even know what monster cat you're talking about.
Instead, I took the chance to weaponize a bunch of companions. I'd planned this from the start actually, all of the Demon Weapon companions were either AI or Shipgirls. I figured they'd be more accustomed to being, well, objects.
21 jumps later, they'd wind up as the cores of RWBY Multiweapons, getting me around the whole "Can't import existing weapons as demon weapons" business.
>>48166601
hsien-ko is a cute.
>>48166150
I just love this perk. A shame that I got it fairly late. It would have been fun to see it in places like Worm.

I went the opposite and became a werewolf. Too bad Soul Eater Werewolves look ridiculous, so I mostly just have it for regen in my human form.
>>48166898
I bet the artist didn't know how to draw animals.
>>48166898
That looks more like some sort of aardvark than a werewolf
>>48166898
To be fair, everything in Soul Eater looks ridiculous.
>>48166898
What
>>48166947
Said. It would probably look more like a wolf in reality than it does in animation.
>>48166965
I don't know about the rest of you, but I always make the assumption that the jumps I go to actually look like they do in their medium.

>>48166885
He has a really iconic voice. For what's it worth, even if Hirsch did some really bland decisions with the ending of the series, he was a superb voice actor, giving four main characters and other minor characters so different voices.
>>48167009
>Implying I would have sex with anyone there.
>>48166988
This is why the canon Werewolf spends most of his time in human form.
>>48167024

Or do you assume that you look different but the setting looks like its medium?
>>48167041
To be honest with you I don't really think about sex when I imagine my adventures, anon.
>>48166971
They aren't mutually exclusive, anon.
Something can be spectacular and ridiculous at the same time.
For me, Axe Cop, 40k, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventures all strike a similar weird harmonizing tone of spectacular and ridiculous.

Aside from the ones I actually own, thanks to AssCreed and FL I've got some contacts in industries from new worlds I jump to. So I'm assuming my actual net value and overall influence on economic signals is rather disproportionate compared to my actual holdings.
Anyway, what I usually do with my candy/fashion/gunpla/pharmaceutical/ironmongering amalgamate is leave some probability-calculating AIs in charge at the highest level, and then focus on Rube Goldberging the economy in a direction that suits my designs. Maybe America needs to undergo a little depression to put some pressure on the president. Maybe a booming economy is just what Tokyo needs to fund the new anti-kaiju armaments which are far, far less cost intensive than actual giant robots.
Well, except the Ahnerbe cafe. I just chill there.

It nerfs you to the level of a protagonist. The protagonists slaughter nests of death claws, shift the course of wars, and topple organizations with the power of small nations. Pretty much single-handedly.That said, it's a stupid rule, and you're completely justified if you ignore it.

>>48168264
That was sorta the plan, the process would work towards first analyzing what they want to happen to their body, like a flat chested girl wishing for larger breasts would get that, or a boy who wants his pimples gone or some shit would lose them. The process then attempts to magnify what features they already possess. A girl with good hips would have fuller ones, ones with good breasts would end up like Malon (with an improved spine to compensate) and so on and so forth. I just want to live in a world of beautiful people.

>>48168659
Yes, from Master of Magic:
>The Weight of the Years (0 CP):You might be here for a long time. Could get dull at times. What this ability allows you to do is to put yourself on autopilot. Your autopilot self won’t be quite as capable as you are, but can handle routine with no problem at all. You can set conditions, or a length of time, at which the autopilot will end. e.g. “Until I finish mastering this spell, or someone attacks my empire, or a year has passed.” You will not be consciously aware of the time passing during this period, but can access knowledge gained during the time (subject to the normal decay of memory; the ability does not inherently grant perfect recall unless you have that from elsewhere). If you do not explicitly set a different time limit condition, your autopilot will not last more than one year before bringing you back to reality; it will also always end if you are (personally) attacked.

Can I just say much Roadhog's stomach disturbs me? He's got a belly button the size of the other characters' (with the exception of Reinhardt, Winston and Bastion) heads. That's not a feature that stretches significantly as the torso expands with fat, so why does it look like that? Is it cancer? I know that Australia is supposed to have a lot of problems with radiation in Overwatch due to a destroyed Omnium, sort of a Mad Max situation. So is Roadhog's navel actually some grotesque tumor?
>>48168707

Having a perfect photographic memory seems like it would be hellish. Imagine being able to recall every single embarrassing moment ever, perfectly, thousands of years later.

Anyways, about the 600 drawback: besides the chages stated in the text, how much else do the Empire's policies change with Sidious gone?

The way you described it makes it sound like you're just upgrading the ship and shoving it into a custom made Death Star. If that's true then the only thing that would follow you between jumps is the ship.
A modification has to be something that improves the ship, not a separate component.
For example, if you went in and modified the whole interior like they did with the Normandy in ME3, that would be a modification.
Or if you extended the hull to add more rooms like the option in the Star Dust CYOA, that would also be a modification.

I have a bar, from Black Lagoon. It makes a mean ass burger, and sells Warehouse brewed beer. Doesn't make much money but it's a fun way to interact with people.
If I am in real need of quick cash I sell my services as a doctor to the super rich. Basically promising them good health for a ludicrous sum of money. It generally works, using magic to completely clean their body of infection, disease, cancer, or whatever else. Then I put some nanobots in them that keeps them healthier overall. All in all it takes 3 days to do. Could do it in a few hours but I need it to look kinda real depending on setting. Never do it for less than a million, have made as much as 50 million though.
>>48169091
>Eat other ships
What nanotech lets you do that? I have a few ships I'd love to merge into one. Not even the LoT, just regular use ships that I have too many of.
Aside from nanotech, what ways do we have to merge ships? There's a few ways for items and weapons but vehicles seem to get the short end of the merging stick.

Will the hanger grow to always be big enough to fit the ship? Could it eventually become a pocket dimension space dock if it gets too big to land?
>>48167146
During Platoon, yes.
The plan was to false flag a reason for the US and Russia to go to war. Mainly because pretty much every majorly bad thing that has happened since 1945 can be laid at the feet of either the Soviets themselves or communism as a whole, up to and including ISIS.

>>48169647
He's not even that. Sidious was clearly holding back in the game, given that he instantly recovered to blast Rahm Kota, just like with Windu, This, combined with him surviving the blast and being more disappointed and annoyed then hurt indicated he was FAR outside Starkiller's league. The book even skips the fight, as Starkiller only beat Vader by pure luck, which he even admits. Without that, Vader would have stomped him.
>>48169694
I picked up on that. I went with the NOT class and skipped out on the soul eating perk for Giffany because I specifically wanted to avoid eating souls. That would be immoral.

Then it sounds like he might be in the wrong tier. Yoda, Sidious and Kreia are probably comparable to each other (iirc Sidious is the best out the of the three). Starkiller is waaaay weaker than Luke and Nihilus, and probably weaker than Yoda and Kreia as well.
>>48169761

Which reminds me, does that mean an advanced padawan like Ahsoka just like we start as?
>>48169962
In fairness, that might only be Asura. While it would be a bad idea trying it on Shinigami and Excalibur, for obvious reasons, Eibon and the Demon of the Book might be willing to hear you out. However, it's worth noting that the former sort of exists only in artifacts now, and that the Demon of the Book is 1. Sealed in one of those artifacts, hence the name, 2. is the equivalent of Cthulhu, if a surprisingly benevolent and chill equivalent, and 3. is willing to drive two of the MCs to Power induced Madness(being the Great Old One of the Madness of Power) in order to teach them a lesson about NOT seeking only power, revealing he sealed himself in the book to prevent that sort of stuff in the first place.
>>48170018
>It says in the supplement that you can have them start with up to Padawan level force/lightsaber abilities.
That makes no sense, though.
>>48170030
Stop being so anal, jeezus
>>48169847
Who was the strongest(ish) Light Side user? Luke?
>>48170030
Your ability to grant it is fiat, so you fiat just a bit of knowledge into them. It's like being able to grant them a perk.
>>48170018
>does that mean an advanced padawan like Ahsoka just like we start as?
Background, no name, typically gets murdered in 10 minutes padawan.
>>48170030
You can grant Force powers to people just by being in the same room as them. We're past the point of making sense.
>>48170060
Yes, Luke is considered the strongest non-One Light side force user, to the point where even Abeloth recognized him as such.
Didn't stop her from smacking him around, but hey. It IS hinted that Jacen's daughter might surpass him, as several people saw a vision of her sitting on the Throne of Balance, which is a MAJOR deal.
>>48170030
You're a goddamn Force Conduit. Why wouldn't you also be able to give them basic skills in the Force?
Can a motorcycle be used as a demon weapon partner?
Have you ever been summoned, /jc/? If so, how'd it go?
Was their arrogance their undoing?
>>48170090
How strong is Aboleth anyways? I know top tier EU users have planetary level destruction and psychic powers and completely insane speed, along with precog. What can Aboleth do that lets her mandhandle something like that?
>>48169847
Why are the Ones mentioned along side Abeloth? They were powerful but both Anakin/Luke had similar levels of potential and Luke actually attained it. Only Abeloth was well and truly above EVERYONE else thanks to her using both the fount and the pool.
>>48170100
My own opinions,
If you partner is a motorcycle that turns into a demon weapon, probably not unless it's somehow sentient/sapient/whatever.
If the motorcycle is the weapon form, I dunno. Maybe if you purchase both Unorthodox Weapon Form and Mechanical Weapon Form. Unorthodox specifically disallows a car as something that you can pick up with just that one option, and I'm not sure if also taking Mechanical would make it okay.
>>48170152
Abeloth is the most powerful force user ever, end of story. She is basically a Star Wars version of Narlethotep or another one of the more powerful Lovecraftian gods.
>>48170235
>a Star Wars version of Narlethotep
I roll to seduce.
>>48170235

>>48170235
I don't think you quite understand what the power level of an Outer God is.
>>48170377
I wouldn't worry about it.
>>48170235
>>48170374
>>48170390
While she's not quite an Outer God, or even a full on Great Old One, she's strong enough that at her height she stomped the personifications of the Light and Dark side, and even in a near death(in the same sense as Cthulhu), she was able to reduce Coruscant to ruins and beat the crap out of Luke and Darth Krayat.
So for those of us unfamiliar with the most ludicrous of the EU, can someone explain what the higher-enr feats of non-Abeloth Force users are?
I wish that one weirdo didn't zero in on Aboleth and then start talking her up, because now a bunch of autists are going to obsess over her when she's only relevant to like one comic series.
>>48170427
Which, impressive, just doesn't seem to match anything but the lower-middle class GOOs in power. Quite literally infinitely below the level of any OG.
>>48170445
Didn't Luke manage to beat her anyway?

>>48170427
> Gio Giovanna will help destroy Abeloth using his stand.
Not gonna lie.
I'd watch this.
>>48170449
Luke and Krayat teamed up to seal her away, because Aboleth can't die.
>>48170430
Pretty sure multiple characters have pulled what amounts to a Darkhallow on entire planets, Nihilistic lifted a ship out of a gravity well and held it together in hyperspace travel, Luke telepathically contacted every Jedi in the galaxy, Sidious could destroy fleets of ships with what amounts to mini-warp storms. Generally some crazy shit.
>>48170462
Yes, Luke and Krayat are silly.
>>48170449
Hence me saying that she's not even a full on Great Old One, as she CAN be permanently killed, it just takes a magic dagger or some such nonsense
>>48170445
God, don't I know it. But she's literally the biggest bullshit that the EU created, so it's near impossible to mention power levels of that universe without bringing her up even in passing
>>48170374
>>48170390
She possessed thousands of force sensitives at once, controlled countless more, created her own plane, and warped reality to her whim. She was imprisoned by an array of black holes and the collective phychic power of a disgustingly massive hive mind race.
>>48170480
It's easy really. Just don't mention her. Talk about anyone else, don't bring her up. I mean it's too late now, but still.
>>48170460
She let them win because they reminded her of her children, they did exactly fuckall against her and Luke even admitted that she could have destroyed them at any time.
>>48170488
And Cthulhu, one of the weakest GOOs in existence, extinguished stars just by moving through them at full power. Every other GOO just gets stronger. Every single OG? They're described as being so immense and powerful that an infinite multiverse is less then an atom in comparison. And there's some OGs stronger then others, suchas Nyarlathotep, Yog Sothoth, The Nameless Mist and so on.
You're waifu is middle tier among GOOs at best son, don't try to put her in a league she doesn't deserve to be in.
>>48170449
Cthulhu got fucked by a steam boat. The actual power levels of the GOOs is incredibly vague, the more impressive stuff known about them is that they fucked up some stars, but how they did that and how long it took them is completely unknown. Going by actual showings they totally suck (at least in the context of the Star Wars EU).
>>48170515
Why do you keep going on like anyone wants to hear you wank Lovecraft? Goddamn. You just do this everytime. ACTUALLY MY WAIFU IS THE BEST. Fuck. Nobody cares.
>>48170523
Cthulhu didn't get fucked. What happened was the equivalent of waking up several hours early, having a bird smack you in the face and fly away, getting annoyed and going back to bed. Cthulhu's own feats include having slept in the middle of a star and extinguishing it upon exiting before landing on earth.
>>48170524
lel, great defense hombre.
Is it just me, or did the Star Wars EU become a Shonen series at some point? I mean really, Force Galuctuses, Force Cthulhu, Force Warp Storms, how did that come from a dorky sci-fi/fantasy series like Star Wars?!
>>48170544
The EU is garbage. At the very least all the comics and novels are. Stuff like Clones Wars ain't bad.

>>48170558

>>48170544
Honestly I half-hate it and half-love it. I fucking hate it because the EU is completely irreconcilable with the movies in terms of the power level shown. I love it because Kotor 2 was and still is one of my favorite games.
Also I suppose you could just say the discrepancies can be explained by limited movie budgets.
IT's worth noting that Lovecraft suffered the same powercreep and writer wank that Star Wars EU did, because Lovecraft let all his friends write in his setting and after he died a bunch of people wrote all over it and introduced a bunch of stupid shit.
in the notes for mega man zero jump, it says you can find Ciel again after the events of mega man zx. however, that is centuries after mega man zero 3. Which means you can't find her until long after spark, and she's human so I doubt she will live that long.

So I have a few ways to make matter, but just realised I don't really have a way to get rid of rubbish in the same way. Does anyone know of a simple way to remove matter from existence? I don't need it to work offensively, just a way to get rid of matter when I'm done with it.
>>48170630
Except the feats that establish the highest power levels in setting, the Outer Gods, are all from Lovecrafts own stories. The stupid shit that got introduced was things like Derleth turning the setting into a battle between good and evil, not power creep.

As the ruler of a planet loyal to the true and great Empire I plan on supplying our troops with genetically engineered War Dogs, wolf hounds the size of clydesdales that also have custom space armor. The plan is to get my companions to help me with the drawbacks as we make our planet the most profitable and militarily important planet in empire space with out of jump technology and droid designs. Then when we are important military asset in the empire and our machines and beasts spread throughout the army I plan on assuming control from thise well meaning but idiotic emperial generals and that old and useless figurehead called an emperor.

A Nihilus black hole doesn't destroy the force, it absorbs more into himself.
An Exile black hole is the anti-force one.
As for how? She was at the epicenter of a weird crush-bomb that compressed a bunch of living people together and fucked up a planet's gravity. Millions of screaming souls echoed through the force, and the pain was unbearable. Her reaction was to cut herself off from the force, and the vortex, combined with her actions, and a shit ton of luck, basically resulted in her having an inverse force presence, like how a Blank in 40k has an inverse soul.

>X-Butanateor Incinerator/Fireplace/Woodchipper [300cp]
It may not look like much, but this is a top-of-the-line waste disposal unit. Anything you throw in here will be completely destroyed, leaving no trace or smell. No matter it's flammability or durability (Through it may take a few minutes for particularily tough materials). The only condition on this is that living beings don't have their durability revoked in here. Don't expect to kill gods with your woodchipper.
Which one you get depends on your background, Aerospace and Zilla get the Incinerator, Polar gets the Fireplace, and Dark Pact gets the Woodchipper. One of these will always be present at all your jobs. As an aside, the fire in the Incinerator and Fireplace doesn't need fuel to keep burning, continueing to maintain a roaring flame without assistance.
After this jump, you may choose any of these three, or a trap door into nothingness, to be added to your Warehouse.

Find Mortis Dagger. Plane-shift/portal gun from Rick and Morty to each body after averting. Stab them. If you got perks to be undetectable, use them.
Each lost body weakens Aboleth. Then once you stab em all with dagger, she dead.

>>48171026
Check this - http://binarymage.com/wiki/doku.php?id=writing:symbols
It's a lot more nuanced then the jump description lets on, but if you make a book in a jump you should have traits from that jump show up in the world you make randomly. Make enough and you can isolate the traits you want.
>>48171003
And don't listen to this guy. He's probably the guy that tried to argue that minecraft's systems are completely limited to exactly whats showed up in the games and got mad when literally everyone disagreed with him. The instability is effected by how you write the world. When you're just randomly producing books they are going to decay very quickly, but if you write them correctly they stay longer.

>>48171253
Sorry to bother you with a question, but how does your own Force abilities respond to other psionic powers that you have?
Like, can you use them to strengthen each other or are the completely separate?
Thanks for the Jumps, by the way. I'm not really a Star Wars fans, but the options you give make me greatly enjoy exploring them.
Like how in this one I'm going to be a Force wielding droid thanks to Kotor. That notion alone puts a smile on my face.
What's the minimum level I need to be at to make taking the Wither drawback in Minecraft not completely suicidal?
>>48171216
you can't leave FR with a divine rank greater than 0, but you don't lose from having divine rank. The chain doesn't automatically end if you gain divine rank, just make sure your rank is 0 when the jump ends and you will move on. If your rank goes back up again after that, then you are safe, you are no longer subject to Ao's will.
>>48171216
Just go ahead and ignore that rule. It makes no sense and has no real value for limiting the jumpers power, as even without it you don't gain much if anything from divinity.
>>48171342
>If your rank goes back up again after that
Can that happen?
>>48171284
>>48171298
>>48171330
Related question: Does the end of Forgotten Realms apply only to the Jumper? If you turned your Companions into Proxies and waited out the end of the Jump, would they get left behind for having higher than 0 Divine Rank?
>>48171353
You can retrieve invested Divine Rank from Proxies. So, yeah.
>>48171293
I can sympathize as Equivalent Exchange is outright broken to the point where a lot of people don't like to use the mod in game because it makes it too easy, and it can get annoying how a lot of jumpers love to abuse it.
Thaumcraft is also much more interesting than EE and deserves more love.
>>48171312
I always just assumed that you could make stable worlds within a few weeks of effort if you had the resources and minions to search for pages.
>>48171314
I just checked and I was wrong on the date, but not by much.

A new moon occurs ever 8 days, instead of every four like I thought. Maybe they changed, or maybe I'm an idiot, who knows.
That means ya have to fight it at least 456 times.

>>48171216
I hose rule that any OP power that ends your chain if you achieve it is instead just lost when you leave until post spark.

>>48171357
the notes do trap companions with divine rank. If you have non companions you can take with you, that might be a loophole. I don't think giving proxie to a squirrel grants it sapience, so pets might be the way to go.

>>48171450
Ok, how do you quote archived posts?
>>48171452
Just saying what was said in thread. I originally read it as letting you do it as well.
Lemme just copy past something:
Yeah, the Mystcraft perk from Minecraft. It lets you create Descriptive and Linking books, that work much like their namesakes from Myst; the former defines/creates a world for you to travel to, while the latter lets you return to the world in which you wrote it. In either case, the book is sort of like a portal; when you open it, there's an image that you can enter to travel to the world it refers to.
Unfortunately, the version you get with the perk is an incomplete technique. The Descriptive Books you can write only let you access 'Ages', which are broken Minecraft-style worlds that decay into nothingness over the course of a week or two. Similarly, the Linking Books aren't powerful enough to counter Jump-Chan, and only work to return you from an Age that you've entered.
Fortunately, the worlds you can create with it rarely contain ruined libraries with fragments of text in it; bits and pieces of books in dead languages that hold key insights into how to create proper Linking and Descriptive books. If you retire from jumping and work on the project for a thousand years or so, you might eventually be able to recreate the true form of the technique. At which point your masterpiece is basically a Descriptive Book to Bevin, and you start playing the Conduit CYOA (with no freebie points, but still a nice consolation prize if you happen to die at some point, but still possess the means to avoid death from old age back on Earth).

What are y'all trying to use Mystcraft for?
>>48171559
I guess that means I have to go back and completely rewrite my chain, since the jump maker ruled that you can't ever make permanent worlds, can't take them with you, can't learn to improve without having to relearn it every jump, and not even being able to return to those worlds after you leave them with a linking book then. Might as well rewrite my chain with Thaumcraft instead then, considering how much this fucks it up, and how shitty that makes Mystcraft compared to any of the other capstones. No, actually, I think I'm going to ignore that ruling, considering it's pretty stupid.

SCP 2400 (1 real second is 140 seconds within) + the Clock of Ages from Narnia to slow the relative time of the Warehouse down by half + any number of autopilot training perks/enhanced learning perks + a perfect memory perk +assloads of shadow clones
You tell your autopilot perk "Wake me up in 280 years or when I've mastered all my skills, whichever comes first" and emerge from the Warehouse one year later with a bad shonen-level power boost.
Even if the Clock doesn't work like that you can still pull 140 years worth of training out from just SCP 2400 alone desu

But they're entirely pointless for that, mining, or anything else by jump maker fiat that you aren't able to do what the mod normally allows you to do, including actually returning to the worlds you've made after leaving them through a link book.
You also wouldn't be able to take resources with you out of the worlds after minecraft because you can't make mystcraft portals.
Worlds will never last very long, because even after you learn how to make more stable worlds, your knowledge resets every jump, so even bothering is worthless.

Eh. If you have a way to store memories, you can get around this. Cyborgs can handle it pretty easily, and any method to store/retrieve memories in something you can leave in your warehouse can cover it as well.
>>48171768
You could use them as a prison dimension maybe?
You could toss someone that's annoying unkillable through the book then destroy it after them, so they either stop existing after the world decays or float around in nothing for all eternity.

>>48171972
Looking for that post, but I found this one already:
That said, if you spend several jumps seriously devoted to the project, you'll notice some improvement to your world duration pre-spark (feel free to fanwank something, but note that Jump-Chan's interference sets a hard limit of the effect ending with any given jump). I'd suggest making worlds en-masse and sending teams to explore them to find libraries (on the level of, like, jumping Naruto and hiring an entire Ninja village to do nothing but retrieve lore fragments from Ages for you for an entire decade), and then you organize an equivalently massive effort to analyze the text in the company of a skilled team of magical scholars equipped with universal translation magic (I don't know, maybe Eberron or something? Can't think of a good Jump for this off-hand; the existing D&D worlds are shitholes and not good for this sort of thing).
>>48171926
It works for mining my ass, there's no point to setting up a mining operation in a world that's going to dissipate in a couple of weeks maximum, and you can hardly carry shit from one world to another beyond what you're carrying on you. That's not practical for a mining operation or storage.
>>48171996
>feel free to fanwank something, but note that Jump-Chan's interference sets a hard limit of the effect ending with any given jump
You will have to relearn how to make more stable ages every fucking jump by jump chain fiat.
Getting offended at someone long gone is so boring.
>>48171996
This is garbage. How is this a capstone
>>48172000
In the game you could manually do it with your inventory (and jumpers have potential access to far more inventory space) or use AE or something else to teleport it back to the main world.
Also, it's easy to set up mining systems in a few dozen minutes, and collect lots of resources.
It's not as good, but it's still alright.
>>48172015
I read that as saying it can't last longer than the jump you're in, but that's just me. Like saying 'the hard limit is the end of the jump you're in'.
>>48172000
>>48172015
>>48172027
Just fucking ignore it. He says himself that if you don't like it you can overrule him. He's giving you permission to completely ignore his ruling in that thread, so just agree to standard that the ruling doesn't apply.
>>48172015
Every Jump is in a different dimension, with different dimensional physics. So, yeah, it makes sense that you'd have to relearn how to stabilize an Age every Jump.

What jumps have drawbacks that remove outside powers?
I want to have a list so I can space this shit out in preperation for gauntlets and LoT.
For Magicka, would it be possible to combine Druid Arts with either Forbidden Magicks (making spells that involve the poison element in casting) or the Grand Tome of Magick (teaching poison element with the other 10)?
If I use Reverse-Engineering from Worm to understand something, then use that power to build something in another universe, will Reverse-Engineering act as the fiat fuel so things dependent on special physics will work in other jumps?
>>48172049
Why would I bother? If that's all it's good for, why would I go for that over EE which is just better at everything? Storage, resource generation, resource processing, conversion.
Mystcraft lets you make an age that you can't return to, decays in a week, can't be effectively improved, and can't be significantly used for a source of resources, for storage, or processing for those reasons.
What's the point? What does it actually do that's actually worth it with these stipulations compared to other options in the same jump?Fuck it, I'm just going to shut up and ignore the stupid ruling like everyone else.
>>48172135
It'd be easier to list the ones that don't as that's one of the more popular drawbacks.
>>48171115
Why are your jump's deflector shields unable to stop projectiles, contrary to the canon as mentioned in last thread >>48160994 ?
>>48172153
Whenever it comes up, I'm going to point out that you're actually cheating just to spite you and anyone else in the thread that thinks they can get away with ignoring jumpmaker fiat, as it's complete validation of the fact that /jc/ is full of powerwankers who actually break rules to give themselves omnipotence.

I'm personally always treated apparent differences in physics as being due to the tech/local understanding of the world approaching the same things at different angles, but that's how I've played my chain.
If that's the way you rule things than yes, you can keep building that tech elsewhere. It wouldn't be doing what it says it does otherwise. You can assume the Tinker power is helping you make things work the same way in the new reality.
>>48172193
A jumper's primary goal is to entertain the Benefactor.
Jumper's are literally omniversal protagonists, and like all protagonists they can bend the rules a bit for sake of plot. Also no need to be smuggly anal about everything. we get that you don't like minecraft, but that's not an excuse

You honestly mystify me. The amount of self-righteousness in your post, the seeming conviction that you're accomplishing a great thing...it's amazing. >>48172278

Are there any teleportation powers other than Blink in Worm that allows you to instantly reach any physical orientation and momentum that you are capable of? It seems like something really cool but there is another worm power that I like more.
Is this mystcraft ruling that some asshole dredged up and is insisting be enforced going to be come a shitstorm in the next?
Because I've got a feeling that any attempt to use it like the average poster, and anyone who's knowledgeable about the mod and would assume it works like in the game, will lead to it being brought into a shitshow by limitwankers who just want everything to be as weak as possible.
>>48172595
