Yes and no. She believed the hype but she also didn't realize it was hype. It's was basically the Emperor's new clothes. Rousey had flaws but everyone was telling that it wasn't a problem.
Really, if she ever wants to fight Holm again, she needs to fire everyone because the most damning thing about that fight was that she looked like she had never done any endurance training.
